The Gingerman in Waterford

This is honestly the best service I’ve seen in Ireland in my 20 years working in gastronomy. The two ladies working here are incredible — they’re worth a million to this bar, and they’re what truly make it special. First of all, they’re beautiful, professional, and incredibly well-organized. Together, they complement every aspect of this place perfectly. Everyone here feels happy and well taken care of. The highest respect for the service here — and of course, the food is top-level too, from traditional Irish dishes to a mix of international cuisine. Personally, this is my favorite bar so far.

It was very busy, but despite this we were seated in a few minutes, served quickly and checked in on regularly! The food was fabulous, it's a lovely pub too!

Wonderful lunch and such a cozy fun space! Everyone that worked there was super kind & helpful, plus high quality fish & chips and Guinness beef stew! Would recommend!
