I only had takeaway lunch ( roast of the day) which was good value for money. Defrosted veggies, mash and gravy from powder- pretty much the standard you get everywhere, nothing outstanding. Service was friendly and quick. Place was packed ( Christmas week) and the decor and atmosphere are great.

A very interesting place in the heart of Waterford. It’s a traditional Irish pub with great food and drinks. The portions are very generous, and the prices are quite reasonable for the location. The place isn’t the newest, especially the restrooms, but it has its charm. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely visit this place again!

For our day trip to Waterford, identified this pub from online reviews as a good option for our lunch and it did NOT disappoint. It is off a pedestrian road in the center of town and packs the traditional Irish pub feel upon entering. Our party of 4 was seated at a rounded booth and promptly waited upon. I decided to go with their seafood chowder, which turned out to be the best I had over our vacation throughout the country and one of the 3 best dishes I had overall. Would definitely return if ever back in the area.

We were in Waterford for the day and decided to eat at the pub. Service was great and the meals were giant!! My husband had the cottage pie which could have served 3 people!! (He could not eat it all and felt badly about it!). I had the soup and sandwich special which was vegetable soup and a full ham salad sandwich! All was very good, but again the portions were huge!! There were 2 young women who were next to us and also got sandwiches and left 3/4 of the food too!! Maybe they need to downsize?!!

01/01/2025: Everett’s in Waterford was the perfect spot for our New Year’s Eve dinner. From the warm, welcoming staff to the cozy yet elegant atmosphere, everything felt just right for the occasion. The food was the highlight. My starter—a crab dish with mango and cucumber—was light and refreshing, while the venison main was tender and flavorful, paired with rich sides like black pudding and creamy mash. Dessert, a parfait with poached pear and custard, was the perfect sweet finish. The wine list was well-curated, and the staff were great at helping us find the perfect pairing. Overall, Everett’s delivered a relaxed yet refined dining experience, making it a great choice for a special night out.
