Nice Sunday dinner, fairly priced too

Stopped by for a pint and lunch...we weren't disappointed! I ordered the seafood pie (locally sourced fish) and my husband the Guinness hot pot...both were fantastic! And since we couldn't help ourselves, we also ordered a sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for dessert. O.M.G...it was beyond delicious! If you're in the area and are looking for a great place to grab a bite... do yourself a favor and swing by here. You won't regret it! I only got a shot of the pudding...the seafood pie was dug into immediately. Oops!

Great food, very busy place because food is so good ,staff are friendly and welcoming

I only had takeaway lunch ( roast of the day) which was good value for money. Defrosted veggies, mash and gravy from powder- pretty much the standard you get everywhere, nothing outstanding. Service was friendly and quick. Place was packed ( Christmas week) and the decor and atmosphere are great.

Really good. Message to management : spend 10k on a new gents toilet.

Perfect pint of Guinness and great atmosphere

A very interesting place in the heart of Waterford. It’s a traditional Irish pub with great food and drinks. The portions are very generous, and the prices are quite reasonable for the location. The place isn’t the newest, especially the restrooms, but it has its charm. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely visit this place again!

The staff were extremely helpful, polite and accommodating. The bar was very busy but they all made the time to acknowledge we were there and take our orders. The food was plentiful, hot and tasted amazing. Our plates were full. Would highly recommend calling in for lunch or dinner well worth the visit and you never wait too long on your food.

This is a must visit bar and restaurant when visiting Waterford City. The food is excellent, well presented and reasonably priced. Both Helen and Johnny are a credit to the establishment. Their attention, speed and above all their interest ensuring customer satisfaction is second to none. Such a central location with great atmosphere. Looking forward to returning for your famous chowder.
