The Greenery in Malahide

We stopped at this wonderful establishment for a coffee and in the end decided to try the soup of the day. We went with our little baby, she also enjoyed the soup of the day and the attention of all the girls who were in service. The place is very nice.

From meath had lunch here today from a recommendation from my niece , was absolutely delicious. Had the warm chicken pesto salad , never left a scrap so fresh and flavoursome. Very well priced. If going for lunch get in before 3 , they don't throw you out just don't take food orders after 3. Would love to try their evening food , reopens at five thur, Fri, sat . Give it a shot you will enjoy

Was here with my family over Christmas when staying in the Grand Hotel. I had the BBQ wings and prawn Thai red curry. Both were sensational. I will remember the Thai red curry for a long time, the prawns were huge and plentiful, the veg crunchy and fresh and the curry was just spicy enough without burning the mouth off me. The staff were very attentive and friendly and service second to none. Had the salted caramel and chocolate mousse for dessert. It was to die for. Couldn't recommend the place highly enough and looking forward to going back again!

I tasted there Classic Egg Benedict - with hollandaise and sour dough bread and instead of ham took the chicken sausage from there Brunch Menu. The staff and the chef are very courteous and accommodating. The atmosphere of the cafe is pretty pleasant too. I would surely like to try there lunch and dinner menu too. Would like to recommend this place. The location is also prime, for swimming lovers or you can go for a good walk as well

Having dinner in the greenery near Christmas, having a wonderful hostess who seemed capable and well adjusted with the menu as well as willing to accommodate. Food came quick enough but not to a point where some would worry about the intervals. I personally got the burger and would recommend it to someone who doesn’t know what to get on the menu. I got calamari for the starters and felt a bit underwhelmed by the lack of flavour-maybe a sauce over the calamari or a rub into the batter could improve that. Dessert was very rich and we all shared , which is what we recommend. I never felt as if we were waiting, staff are brilliant and the food is consistent- very enjoyable experience.

Very nice restaurant with good staff. Food was good, nothing amazing, nice. Loads of patrons on their tablets and phones while eating. Cheapens the look of the place. Seems to be a problem now in all restaurants.

A new restaurant in Portmarnock is an offshoot of The Greenery in Malahide. I couldn't find an entry for it, so am reviewing it here. The restaurant is nicely designed and spotlessly clean, though space between tables is a little tight. It was tricky initially to find a brunch that was vegan and gluten-free - sadly the gluten-free bread contained egg - but our waiter Alex persevered and I had a delicious salad with avocado, olives and a delicious balsamic dressing. A promising star for a new venue.

This place is stunning! I love the decoration. We got served quickly and food was good, but I find it a little bit overpriced even for Malahide. The milkshakes are spot on though and the dish presentation is great 😊

Just want to flag that this place is not dog friendly, I just called to check. I’ve eaten there before and it’s really tasty and good service, just want to flag because could be confusing for fellow dog owners

We went there for my wife’s birthday as this is her favourite restaurant. We had our daughter in wheelchair with us and they found us very nice spot with extra space. My wife had chicken burger which she always has there and she swears by it. I had rump of lamb and I think it was one of very few times that I felt fed after finishing a meal in a restaurant. Didn’t have that feeling “oh I wish the portion was a bit bigger”. The food was really good. Staff there are very friendly and treat everyone like family
