Popped in for an early dinner with my sister after a long day at the beach. Reservation was at 5.30. We arrived at 5.00 just as the restaurant opened. The host was lovely and seated us early outside as we requested on the online reservation notes. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty. Cocktails stole the show with great value for money. Would 100 percent recommend and can’t wait to return.

Stopped in for lunch/brunch on a rainy Saturday. Food was delicious. I can't remember the price but I thought the full Irish was good value and a perfect size for me. Proper thick maple syrup with the pancakes too. It gets busy around lunch time so you might need to wait.

This absolutely lovely restaurant by the water sports a lot of wood, giving it a salty coastal appeal, but they they have added touches of flowering branches, silver- framed mirrors, and small chandeliers/hanging lamps to add a mix of textures. The effect is that it feels elegant, but not over- the- to. The dress is more casual. So you don't have to stress when traveling to put together a fancy outfit. Just a little closer to business casual will mix in just fine. The food though? Beyond belief! I had a Niçoise salad that had the best soft-yolk egg and seared-edged tuna I've ever had. Their Parmesan cheese fries were generous with the freshly heated cheese and helped keep us going until the main course. Just go. If you are in Ireland and nearby The Greenery, just treat yourself. It will be worth the price tag.

6 of us went for brunch. This is a popular restaurant and we waited only 10 minutes for a table. They would not let us book a table. I am gluten free and I found the staff very helpful in giving me options with gluten free bread/toast. For me I found it expensive but I don't live in Malahide. An excellent experience.

This is such a beautiful, spring-vibe brunch spot! I really love it here! The place has indoor and outdoor seats and every corner is a feast for the eyes. The food is really good and fresh! We had quesadilla, chicken burger, sweet potato fries, french toast with banana, blueberries and pecan, pancakes with bacon and coffee. •The quesadilla was really perfect and ingredients were fresh! •The sweet potato fries was bomb!! The best sweet potato fries we had here in dublin!! •You’ll definitely love the french toast here - crispy in the outside but soft in the inside, the right amount of sweet, and very filling! so good! If you are looking for a beautiful place with the nicest view and good food-the Greenery won’t fail you!

Visited The Greenery three times during a stay in Malahide. The restaurant is in a lovely spot overlooking the sea and Malahide Marina. Great menu, fresh, home cooked food (the soda bread was delicious!). The staff were attentive and helpful. Couldn't fault the experience. Would definitely return and recommend.

Bset food out anywhere in a long time, Ceaser salad with Cajun Chicken and Beetroot salads as starters then Thai curry and Teryaki Salmon mains, all absoutely delicious. Service was great, staff attentive and courteous. Been here quite a few times but this was the best yet. Highly recommend, oh and very reasonable as well.

Provence

28/06/2025: delicious food. Everything we had was tasty and delicious. The desserts were amazing too.
26/05/2025: Myself and my wife had the best brunch we’ve ever had. Gorgeous coffee, super fresh orange juice. The eggs on our Benedict and Royale were spot on. The seasoning on everything was spot on as well. 5 stars to the chefs. In a city of mediocre brunch places this restaurant shows how it should be done. Can’t wait to come back to eat everything else

Old Street

03/07/2025: It is very clear there is a focus on getting it right in Old Street. I am ashamed to say after visiting, that it was our first visit but certainly won't be our last. The scallop starters we both had were fantastic. Portion size very well considered. For Mains we both shared the Higgins ButchersTomohawk. There is no place for wet aged meat on any menu. Here. They have the best in the country at a price very little over retail for what you get. Incredible cooking at not astronomical prices. For desert. I don't want to ruin the surprise but they bring out a board covered in desserts. The more luscious the smaller the pots, the fresher and lighter the bigger. Like the Brownie dessert being smaller, but just as filling as the Strawberry cake dessert. Very very very clever cooking and every tiny thing considered. Not a stuffy atmosphere. Locals in with kids for food in shorts and hoodies before it got busier with larger groups. Decor is simple, clean and very comfortable. Staff were brilliant. We had a Hungarian waiter who was new but very clued in. Looking forward to our next visits. (Intentionally plural)
30/06/2025: Lovely food, lovely cocktails, friendly staff. Really enjoyed ourselves and we will be back.
