Apparently it has the best Guinness in Westport. I don't drink it so I can only go by what my fellow drinkers told me. Great venue for live music as well.

Mac Brides Bar

10/06/2025: Beautiful pub. Great service. Awesome atmosphere. Only pub open til 12:30 weekdays! Met the owners and had a lovely time at Mac Bride's.
22/05/2025: Nicest owners I've met who warmly welcomed me and my parents to join in on the craic. Great company, great guinness, great pub. Thanks so much for a great evening!

Westport Train Station

10/11/2024: Decent station just a vending machine and toilets there, just be aware that bus eireann no longer collects from there even though online you can book a ticket from the train station but you need to go to Mill st that's the last stop for the buses it's about a 10minute casual walk from the train station
