The Lake Room in Cavan

Well looked after from start to finish. Lovely atmosphere. Food is so good.

Great atmosphere, lighting is spot on, especially if you have sensory issues. The staff treat you with great respect. The food is perfect. Ideally sized portions with incredible flavours. We love coming here and highly recommend this restaurant.

Friendly staff, lovely menu and nice to see a dedicated vegetarian menu. Food beautifully presented and very tasty. Sides and desserts very memorable. Great spot.

we had a great meal here. If Paul Muldoon was a great chef he might have been involved in my hake as well as our beef shin croquette starter. But Seamus Heaney might have had more to do with my wife’s spring lamb which was the star of the meal. Well mannered free verse plates.

Wow This is a restaurant in the true sense of the word. A short menu, so the food was done well . Highly recommended for that special occasion meal. This was my first visit. It was a reunion for us 3 oldies. At no point were we rushed. The service was excellent, but the food was exceptional. I have to say I didn't realise The Oak in Bridge Street was a fine dining restaurant .
