The Locke in Limerick

Went for team lunch and it’s was great

Traditional Irish pub. Tasty food (with large portion sizes), great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Stay for the live music! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the hour we spent today on a wet, gray mid-September afternoon having a cuppa and a ham sandwich at the outside tables of Locke Bar. The tea was just as tea should be — strong enough to trot a mouse across it, as the Irish used to day. And the sandwiches were well-made and generous. In addition, the young woman who greeted us inside at the bar and took our order couldn't have been nicer, and the woman who brought our tea and sandwiches to us was equally cordial and smiling. The interior of Locke Bar is classic pub, dark, lots of beautiful woodwork, gleaming spigots for dispensing Guiness and other beers. Altogether a first-rate pub in the heart of Limerick's old city.

Could not fault this pub...Food was excellent,Pint was lovely and the staff are nice and friendly... Highly recommended

The impossible burger was superb as was all the other food. Not easy to get a table for a larger group on the Sunday evening we visited but staff did their best to accommodate us.

Super full Irish breakfast, highly recommend.

My "go-to" spot in Limerick for a pint of Guinness and/or a Jameson & Ginger. The Locke is always lively (live music nightly) and welcoming.

Great plaxe to grab lunch and have a few drinks. Clean place and very nice atmosphere . Good service. Order burgers and they were very tasty.

We had lovely drinks outside the Locke by the river. It is such a perfect place to sit on a sunny day. We didn't eat here this time.
