The Raven Bar in Cork

The Raven is our favourite bar in Cork City. The welcome on every visit is amazing. They remember our favourite table and regular cocktail order. The food is really tasty and innovative and the drinks are top class. We like Mondays when it’s quieter and the wine is a bargain but every night of the week is a treat. Myself and my husband are slightly (!) older than the average clientele but we never feel out of place and honestly love the food and ambience. I recommended The Raven to a 2star Michelin chef and he loved it too. It gets very busy especially at weekends- so book in advance if you can.

Bartender Sarah made us jalapeño martinis, Charlotte the waitress was so sweet and welcoming, Jenny (from the Blackrock) was hilarious and informative, Robert with the mustache was kind, patient, and charged my phone. Love this place.

The Raven is simply great, it's probably (certainly) my favourite bar in Cork. The food choices are literally all mouth-watering - they're a little alternative for your usual bar, which is all the better as there will always be something on the menu that you will enjoy. The service is wonderful too, and paired with a creamy Beamy, some laid back R&B music vibes, and the wonderful indoor decor, this is the perfect place to spend any evening!

Went here during our honeymoon and it was incredible! Staff was super friendly and accommodating, made us feel like family from the moment we got there. Drink menu is expansive and we loved what we had. The food was exceptional, we ordered fish and chips, beef burger and mozzarella sticks. All were extremely fresh and tasty, can’t recommend this place enough if you’re visiting Cork! We will definitely go back next time we are in the area!

Wow - just fantastic tacos. Our group had falafel, fish, and pork and all delicious. Cauliflower bites a huge hit. Blossom mocktail is so refreshing. Enjoyed our time and the quality service. Definitely feels like the hip place to be, you might want a reservation (Whiskey sour pictured)
