The Restaurant at Liss Ard in Skibbereen

One of the most amazing experiences of my life. The two days we spent at Liss Ard were complete and utter magic! We both loved it so much that we would love to go back and experience more of what this stunning estate has to offer. The staff, location, food and atmosphere was utter perfection! My dream getaway!! Already wishing we could go back ✨

Liss ard is an absolute dream of a hotel. One feels transported to a long ago fairy tale upon entering the property, and the feeling only increases with exploration of the buildings and grounds. The bar and restaurant were beautiful and served delicious, locally-sourced fare.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, but so bittersweet to write this because we were staying there when the news came out that it will no longer be a hotel come November. The canopy bed was luxurious and comfortable, the shower was huge and excellent, and the sky garden is a treasure. I swam in the lake and I think I walked every path through areas that reminded me of rainforests, to the talking stones and Celtic meeting place. A real loss for future travelers to Skibbereen! Staff was nice and hopefully they are treated well when it closes in a few weeks

Great place for some quiet relaxation

Only visited the gardens and the James Turrell Landscape Art. It was excellent with plenty of routs and places to sit and relax. The hotel receptiin was stunning.

Beautiful grounds. Lovely accommodations

A fantastic experience from check in to check out. Exceptional food and magical grounds. The staff were amazing. Relaxed ambience, and not a stuffy atmosphere. The room was beautifully furnished. We'll be back.
