Oyster and the chowder soup tasted wonderful 👍🏻

The staff are very polite and know their jobs well. I had fish and chips. It was very fresh and delicious. I loved the complimentary Guinness bread. Recommended!

Freshest oysters we've had in Galway!

The Seafood bar@ Kirwan's is a restaurant located in Kirwan's Lane, in the old town of Galway, in the area known as the Latin Quarter. We came here to have dinner oysters and fish chowder to share as starters, mussels with smoked bacon and cream as main dish and a pistachio creme brulee as dessert. Everything was delicious. Really an excellent restaurant! Also, I drank a Pale Ale beer from Galway Hooker Brewery. (See also Kirwan's Lane and Galway Latin Quarter)

The baked Salmon with asparagus and cream spinach was excellent. The service was great.

Had a delightful meal...although the restaurant was busy we were accommodated by the staff. Can't recommend it more.

Simply fantastic food and service. In a relaxed and beautiful environment. I definitely recommend the prawns as a starter and the tuna as a main!

J'ai été un peu déçue par ce restaurant. Nous avons été placés dans la salle du rez de chaussée où il faisait assez froid. J'ai pris une assiette de dégustation (fruits de mer et poissons fumés) que j'ai trouvée assez chère pour le prix. Mon convive a mangé un excellent poisson mais il fallait prendre des pommes de terre à part. Au final l'addition était élevée. L'emplacement est très bien par contre.
