The Seafood Bar @ Kirwan's in Galway

Went out for dinner with a large group. Well able to accommodate large groups on bookings. Good food and good wine. Set menu, with good variety. Had short ribs with Asparagus for starter, the braised duck for main and pistachio creme brulee for dessert. The desert was fantastic.

Just love this restaurant. Cillian is a super manager always there looking after customers and staff. Service excellent. Food fresh and beautifully cooked. Fabulous chowder, fresh fish, scrumptious fat chips, delicious linguini and mussels... . My son had a family wedding meal there and it was 100% perfect. There choice of wines and champagne very good and prices to suit everybody.

Lovely restaurant in the old Town, cosy and comfy with great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great atmosphere, great food and good wine selection. We had the seafood chowder which was excellent, and the prawns which were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. We then shared the black sole with a couple of sides. Also perfectly cooked and tasted great. Excellent meal.

Excellent food, excellent oysters and salmon, good and friendly chefs and waiters with Italian taste

Excellent service literally called 5minutes before arriving for 2 adults 5kids they were able to accomodate us, food is excellent, service was excellent, definately order the oysters and salmon and prawns for starters, the venison and steak for mains, the kids had fish and chips and everyone left happy and full bellys we will definately be back again hopefully next time without the kids and have a proper experience 😂

Took my family and all seven of us were extremely happy with the starters, main courses, sides and five desserts. Fish was amazing. Service was attentive and warm.

Tuvimos una cena muy agradable en Kirwans y cuando viajamos especialmente así pudimos hacer una reserva en una ciudad ocupada. Queríamos cenar arriba pero eso se estaba usando para una fiesta privada. Tuvimos un poco de espera para nuestra mesa, pero nos dejaron sentarnos fuera en el patio cubierto con una bebida mientras esperamos, no hay problema. Nuestras cenas fueron deliciosas, salmón, merluza y patas de cangrejo como entrada. Echamos un vistazo al menú de postres, pero no estaba a punto de pagar más de $ 11 por el postre. El ambiente y el servicio hicieron la noche completa.

El Seafood bar@ Kirwan's es un restaurante ubicado en Kirwan's Lane, en el casco antiguo de Galway, en la zona conocida como el Barrio Latino. Vinimos aquí a cenar ostras y sopa de pescado para compartir como entrantes, mejillones con tocino ahumado y crema como plato principal y una crema de pistacho brulee como postre.
