The Seafood Bar @ Kirwan's in Galway

Lovely restaurant in the old Town, cosy and comfy with great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great atmosphere, great food and good wine selection. We had the seafood chowder which was excellent, and the prawns which were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. We then shared the black sole with a couple of sides. Also perfectly cooked and tasted great. Excellent meal.

Excellent service literally called 5minutes before arriving for 2 adults 5kids they were able to accomodate us, food is excellent, service was excellent, definately order the oysters and salmon and prawns for starters, the venison and steak for mains, the kids had fish and chips and everyone left happy and full bellys we will definately be back again hopefully next time without the kids and have a proper experience 😂

Took my family and all seven of us were extremely happy with the starters, main courses, sides and five desserts. Fish was amazing. Service was attentive and warm.

Stopped by for a spontaneous lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Comprehensive menu and excellent service.

Went with work colleagues for dinner and drinks. Excellent food quality and service although a bit on the expensive side.

Food & service was excellent. The one issue we had was how cold we were while in there. It was one of the coldest days in Galway but I feel the restaurant should have been heated a bit better.

Steak was 10/10. Service fantastic. Lovely homely place.

El Seafood bar@ Kirwan's es un restaurante ubicado en Kirwan's Lane, en el casco antiguo de Galway, en la zona conocida como el Barrio Latino. Vinimos aquí a cenar ostras y sopa de pescado para compartir como entrantes, mejillones con tocino ahumado y crema como plato principal y una crema de pistacho brulee como postre. Todo estaba delicioso. Realmente un excelente restaurante! Además, bebí una cerveza Pale Ale de Galway Hooker Brewery. (Véase también Kirwan's Lane y Galway Latin Quarter)

J'ai été un peu déçue par ce restaurant. Nous avons été placés dans la salle du rez de chaussée où il faisait assez froid. J'ai pris une assiette de dégustation (fruits de mer et poissons fumés) que j'ai trouvée assez chère pour le prix. Mon convive a mangé un excellent poisson mais il fallait prendre des pommes de terre à part. Au final l'addition était élevée. L'emplacement est très bien par contre.
