A fantastic little restaurant in the square. Completely under-rated. The food is delicious for either breakfast or lunch. But it is the service that is excellent, you don’t get service like that anymore. Very attentive, make you feel so welcome. All the girls were great, a credit to the place. Special callout to Jess.

A bit Pricey for the Big breakfast but well worth it….everything was cooked to perfection….the egg were soft the sausages were very tasty….i can’t fault this cafe…..it’s well worth a visit for sure………check it out…)

Shamrock

29/11/2025: Went to Shamrock for breakfast and lunch two days in a row because it’s that good. Great portion sizes, good value, friendly owners, and the fish and chips are excellent, the fish is so fresh. I’ll definitely be making a return!
21/11/2025: Without question, the Shamrock has the best breakfast/fry up in Dungarvan and an excellent menu overall. The staff are always absolutely lovely and the atmosphere is always comfortable and welcoming. On many a day, a chat with a few locals is often likely and it's always a pleasure. Excellent food, lovely place and one of the nicest places to spend some time. A must for anyone passing through and a lovely treat if you're local.
