The Strand Inn in Dunmore east

Excellent hotel, great staff and lovely food. Highly recommended.

My partner and I spent three days and two nights here. We were delighted to find this hotel, its view, the warm welcome, the smiles, and the friendliness at every moment. What's more, we were lucky enough to have almost exclusively beautiful weather. The meals were generous and delicious. Thank you again for allowing us to have such a wonderful time with you!

Having cycled the Waterford Greenway from Dungarvan, we had the pleasure of staying at the Strand Inn. Fab location, spotless rooms, wonderful staff, great food, lovely atmosphere. Had early start next morning and Paul went out of his way to arrange taxi to Waterford. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Definitely worth to stay in and get some nice expectations from the lovely beach straightly located in 1 minute from the hotel. 😀 What was the most amazing experience in there my breakfast! Food was delicious and fresh. Thank you for your service! Definitely will come back!

Very comfortable beds, slept better than at home! Food was delicious and staff are great. Rooms have a few quirks with windows that don't close fully and some in need of an update. Can't beat the location, superb!

Above and beyond for sure. If you find yourself in Dunmore Ireland, find the Strand. After walking from the cruise tender port through the town, we had lunch which was great. BUT because of my walking limitation, we found that we could not get back to the tender. PAUL, the manager, dropped everything and drove us back in his personal car and would only take a THANK YOU for his kindness. I’ve never have experienced anything like this…say hello to Paul when you get there. He is THE BEST EVER! 🍀

Food is excellent a bit overpriced for what it is. services completely in the toilet staff to busy talking to each other rather than doing their job nobody no supervising. Finnish our mains never ask if like desserts left standing at the bar twice. When we got there ask Do we take a table number got holds sit anywhere. Got no Hospitality in the hospitality sector today. Good job 👏 12.5% service charge for groups over 6 (greedy)
