Lovely two night break at the Strand Inn in the beautiful village of Dunmore East. Excellent food in a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. We had a lovely walk along the coast from Dunmore to Ballymacaw.

Beautiful spot in Dunmore East 🌊 I really enjoyed my visit to The Strand Inn. The views are absolutely stunning, and since it was a very cold day, the wood-burning stove made the experience feel extra cozy and special 🔥 The service was excellent, friendly and attentive throughout. Food-wise, the deep fried brie was delicious, although I didn’t love the green pepper jam — I think it would work much better with a cranberry sauce. The fish and chips were great: super fresh fish and very tasty overall. A lovely place to relax, enjoy good food, and take in the incredible scenery.

Make sure you check to see when they stop serving food. It's right by the water but no food had to find another spot.
