The Strand Inn in Dunmore east

Above and beyond for sure. If you find yourself in Dunmore Ireland, find the Strand. After walking from the cruise tender port through the town, we had lunch which was great. BUT because of my walking limitation, we found that we could not get back to the tender. PAUL, the manager, dropped everything and drove us back in his personal car and would only take a THANK YOU for his kindness. I’ve never have experienced anything like this…say hello to Paul when you get there. He is THE BEST EVER! 🍀

Food is excellent a bit overpriced for what it is. services completely in the toilet staff to busy talking to each other rather than doing their job nobody no supervising. Finnish our mains never ask if like desserts left standing at the bar twice. When we got there ask Do we take a table number got holds sit anywhere. Got no Hospitality in the hospitality sector today. Good job 👏 12.5% service charge for groups over 6 (greedy)

We stayed in Strand Inn for 3 nights. Great Location. Has the full package Excellent Customer Service Well Trained Staff Will definitely return

€15 for a full Irish, no toast included. One egg. One sausage. Dunmore east needs better breakfast spots!!!

We didn't stay the night, we had coffee and enjoyed the beautiful views. A lovely place. Very nice staff.

We just had drinks. We had a lovely table outdoors overlooking the beach. The place was jammers, great atmosphere.

Went here for dinner outside overlooking the beach. Seagulls are great craic, they like the garlic mayo. Beautiful food, wine and views.

Location - it doesn't get much better! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service - friendly and attentive. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The menu - in these days, which are difficult for the hospitality industry, the somewhat short menu is understandable. ⭐⭐⭐ The prices - a tad expensive! ⭐⭐⭐The Food - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
