If you’re after really good pizza and kebabs, this place is a winner. The pizza has a soft, chewy base with a nicely crisp edge, the sauce is rich, and the toppings are generous and fresh. Every slice tastes made with care — the cheese melts perfectly, and the flavours just work. The kebabs are just as good — the meat is juicy and well-seasoned, with a smoky, slightly spicy flavour. The salad is fresh, the sauces are tasty (that garlic sauce is addictive!), and the portions are generous. The chips on the side are golden and crispy, rounding out the meal perfectly.

Welcome Inn

23/10/2025: Pint in the morning top quality Guinness
22/09/2025: At one end of William Plunkett St in Cork city you'll find The Welcome Inn. It's about the size of standard living room but outsized as a pub. It was full of men and women, busily chatting with background music trying to butt in. There were hugs and kisses whenever someone came in, or left, and the very pleasant and efficient barman was working his socks off to serve his customers. We were offered a seat for the 4 of us almost immediately but, instead of leaving, the lady moved to another table to continue her chatting and drinking. The 8 pints of Beamish we drank over the next hour or so were also splendid. If you are ever in the area you must check it out. You'll be made most Welcome.

13/12/2025: Didn't eat in so I can't comment on that hence zero stars. Atmosphere was top notch amd service eas very fast and amazingly polite taking crowd inside in perspective. Definitely plaec6to have a few pints.
09/12/2025: This is a great pub with wonderful staff. The pizzas are excellent and there is a good choice of wines and beers.
