The Tavern Bar & Restaurant in Westport

My friends and I had an amazing experience dining at the Tavern Bar & Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish tasting better than the last. The atmosphere of the place is so cosy and beautiful, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The quality of the food is outstanding, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into every dish. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

Amazing restaurant with great decor, service and delicious food. We tried the chowder, fish & chips, oysters and salmon and they were all delicious. Reservations required. Highly recommended...

The fish pie was excellent, the whiskey ice cream was exceptional. The homemade soup was just fantastic. The staff are just lovely. I will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stop in and lunch at The Tavern, it was so unexpected but I think our favourite meal we have had in Ireland on this trip. The staff were so lovely and helpful. They catered for me being Coeliac

Great food. Something for everyone. Sat in back with view of river. Mid week quiet in back rocking on pub side.

We were staying locally in a lovely Air BnB and travelled up to this pub after doing the climb of Croagh Patrick. We only had drinks but the service was very good. Both the staff and locals were very friendly and the craic was had. There was a wedding on that eve so the place was packed but that didn't deter from the staff providing impeccable service. The place was very clean and inviting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling by, I heard the food was great too so we will definitely be back!
