The Walter Raleigh in Youghal

Got a lovely room with amazing views. The staff were friendly, especially the receptionist who was really helpful. Breakfast was great, fabulous room. Would love to stay here again.

What a brilliant hotel, with absolutely wonderful staff, great rooms, a top notch breakfast and an incredible location overlooking the water with an amazing sunrise! When I go back to Ireland, this will be a must to visit again.

Place is grand good service. Salmons lovely potatoes on point. Drinks not a rip off and they do mint water so that's cool.

We revisited the Walter Raleigh Hotel, Youghal, for a 9 day stay in August 2024 after being away for 2 years. The hotel is a splendid sea front hotel with amazing views and seaside walks, and all the rooms are bright and airy and comfortable. All the staff are cheerful and friendly and provided a warm welcome from the receptionist inwards. We would like to make a special mention of Mr. Michael Brett, the General Manager, who was extremely helpful and has assembled a very professional team, also assistant managers Jason and Brian, and the breakfast waitresses Dolores and Aoife. The Walter Raleigh has the best dining in Youghal, especially the Atlantic Seafood Pie which was my favourite; also they provide a splendid breakfast and in fine weather it is possible to take it on an outside balcony overlooking the sea. We hope to return again soon and we strongly recommend this hotel, Panos Harris and Hilary

Very nice, cozy hotel, attention is paid to details, everything is clean, nice location.

We stopped in for a pint while staying nearby. The staff was fast and friendly! This hotel is located in the heart of Youghal and is located near beach access.

Had the most beautiful Atlantic Seafood Pie yesterday, full of delicious fish with mashed potato & peas 😋 The burger was tasty too. Lovely staff & a beautiful hotel 👌

Lovely food, reasonable prices, impecable service

A wonderful hotel, couldn't have been better. Lovely find, with parking and a lovely bar restaurant good menu and delightful staff well located.
