Great food and fab service for dinner. They squeezed us in without a booking. Only slight downside was regular loud ‘bing bong’ noise presumably to alert waiting staff to food being ready.

We ate out three times during our stay in Clifden. It was always perfect. The service was very fast and friendly, and the food was very good and plentiful. I highly recommend it.

If I could give 6 stars I would! Wonderful staff, really great food, wine is on point and friendly atmosphere. But big shout out to the staff and chefs who did a beautiful job!

We stopped at The Willow Tree for lunch and had the seafood platter, and it was phenomenal. The seafood is all locally sourced and it all complemented each other so well. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff were very warm and friendly. If you're passing through Clifden or staying, I would highly recommend the Willow Tree.

A large group of 11 attended here to celebrate a big birthday. We could not fault the service and our young waiter was so helpful. The food was lovely with a wide range of dishes eaten. The set menus was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend.

Station House Pub

21/05/2025: Great hotel in Clifden! This should def be categorized as a 4 star. Great accommodations, good restaurant and bar, great location and the service was definitely 5 star! The staff were so accommodating and kind and helped us store our bikes and navigate details on our cycle trip. Special shoutout to Fiona and Shauna and the numerous porters who were fantastic and kind. Would always recommend!
20/05/2025: In the heart of Clifden, nice place to keep fit, “oldly worldly” station house bar with outdoor seating, restaurant & recently renovated hotel near art galleries, designer shopping area & horse riding.
