The Wooden House in Kilmore quay

Our stay was an absolute dream! The view was incredible and we were right next to the best ice cream shop and chipper in town. We were also super close to the beach! The rooms were in great shape, my only minor gripe was a few cobwebs on the balcony, but everything else about this place was brilliant. I'd definitely stay here again!

Great stay, only was here 1 night. I wish we had a little longer as it was a really nice hotel and the area was beautiful!

Had a one night stay in July. Very good standard of accommodation for the price. Samantha the manager is super-communicative, flexible and helpful around bookings and check in was very smooth. The more expensive rooms have plenty of space. Some have a sea view Location could not be better - right in the village, with on-site parking. No food or drink at the hotel, but plenty of great options in the village.

The manager Samantha is outstanding going above and beyond to insure our stay was magnificent she provided excellent information on local places where to eat and things to do and I highly recommend the Wooden House for your stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the balcony (southwest) you can see the sea and the pier. We had a room on the second floor (steps, no elevator). It is now the beginning of March, and the room is cold, the heating was turned on for a short period in the evening, and the radiators were cold at night and in the morning. The water in the shower is very warm and has good pressure. There is a small sandy beach across the road, right next to the pier, you can swim on the beach and fish from the pier. There is a sauna and a cafe on the beach.
