Price not adapted to the services No catering as advertised Very small room, Velux window above the spring bed which you have to climb onto to get a glimpse of the outside On the other hand, very good location in this pretty fishing village.

Our stay at this bed and breakfast near the sea was exceptional. The owner was super nice and friendly, making us feel right at home. The room was very big and spacious, complete with a balcony offering a stunning view of the sea. It was a perfect, relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

This place is now closed down and used to house refugees. Very slow service, got orders mixed up ,long wait for drinks and food , got bill at end of night wrong , food average, won't be back any time soon , need to up their game, I know there's a shortage of hospitality staff and the young people that are employed no are thrown in at the deep end without training unfortunately.

After reading reviews about the wooden house hotel I was a bit anxious to stay. We had rang ahead to enquire about the safety and the refugees that the previous comments seem to complain about. We spoke to the loveliest woman who put our minds to rest. The houses on the grounds of the hotel have families living In them. Not mass amount of men that was stated in comments and certainly no loitering or feeling of unease. The families are just regular people. It is not running like a "normal" hotel at the minute. There is no breakfast or bar amenities BUT you literally walk out of this place and have plenty of option in the little village to dine. When booking the room you are told its room only and no breakfast. You have your own fob to enter the building and the room we stayed in was absolutely lovely. Spaces, balcony, clean. Kilmore Quay is beautiful. The restaurants and beaches are beautiful. It was like staying in a city apartment for the night, you were just left to yourself and had your own access to come and go as you liked. We will absolutely be staying here again. We stayed here for 2 nights to get the Saltee Island ferry. The location is super ideal as you can leave your car parked and walk over to the ferry. The service is lovely we were greeted by a cheerful lady that showed us to our immaculate room. The room had a great view of the sea and the sunlight in the morning hit just right! Would definitely be going back.

Room okay. Floor Dated. No Bar or kitchen. Best visited in Summer.
