The inside is dark and rustic but has a charm. Its a busy place but they have enough seating areas. I got the Irish stew and a glass of wine and wow. The balance of the stew is great with the mashed potatoes on the side. Its extremely filling that I thought I was going to go into a food coma midway thru my dinner. The wine was eh. I know its ireland they are more beer focused but sometimes, a decent wine list should be available. Regardless, I would recommend going here and having the traditional Irish stew if you havent done so already.

Came to Cork for my birthday weekend and it has been truly amazing with this pub being one of the special places we stepped into. We came here for lunch and dinner on three occasions and the food on every occasion was exceptional, the staff very smiley, warm and attentive. Would visit again. The pub is spacious, clean, airy, bright and full of character, class. The steak and mash, and mushrooms very unique and different level of perfection. Amazing chef(s). Thank you so much

04/05/2025: Tried to eat there last night and it was PACKED! Had my dinner there tonight so…upon entering I was accommodated at a table that was reserved; yes I was informed it was reserve for 2 hrs later. Fair as I was alone so it wasn’t an issue. The staff were exceptional! So kind and considerate. My meal came SO fast & thank goodness for that because I was starving. My salad was fresh and tasty! Nice chunks of avocado too. My chicken supreme was SO SO GOOD! I normally don’t eat cauliflower so I gave it a taste tonight and ended up eating it. That goes to show on how well prepared everything was right down to the cauliflower. Highly recommend when in Cork!
03/04/2025: Very good food, i noticed many bad reviews mostly about the price being too high, if people complain about it being too much they should go to the local chippers. Very good service and interior.
