The Woodford in Cork

Good ambient, good service but I wish they had more red beers because my friend really likes them

Dropped in and had seafood chowder, without a shadow of a doubt, the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Really really nice, perfect temperature and lots of seafood in a creamy sauce with two pieces of sweet brown bread. Delicious

I’ve eaten in many restaurants in Cork and this is by far the most welcoming, warm and friendly restaurant of them all. An added bonus that it’s dog friendly. The man and woman on the door were extremely accommodating followed by a lovely French waitress who was extremely dog friendly. The nicest lunch we’ve had in a long time and made even better by the fact that we could enjoy it with Bobbie, our dog by our side. Thank you!

I enjoyed the steak and Guinness pie immensely.

We visited here when it was very busy on a Friday night, we could’ve easily been turned away and told it was full, but the staff were very hospitable to make room for us when they didn’t need to, the staff were lovely and the food was very good, very pleased with the service.

Good vibe on a Saturday night. Music and good beer.

Mi marido y yo tuvimos una parada inesperada en Cork, y decidimos encontrar un lugar para almorzar después de explorar el centro. Estábamos deseando probar un poco de Guinness y sucedió en el Woodford Bar & Restaurant justo antes de la hora de apertura. Su propietario nos invitó a entrar para salir de la lluvia, y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. No solo tenían Guinness, tenían un sampler de stouts locales para comparar. David nos hizo sentir como en casa mientras estábamos esperando para el almuerzo, y nos lo pasamos muy bien. Buena comida del pub y un ambiente maravilloso.

Servicio medio para un tiempo no tan ocupado. Comida fría en platos fríos. Mesas fijas. Retrete una chuchería por las escaleras con pequeños tots. No volveremos.
