A friendly and welcoming place, with live music. For dinner we ordered soup, braised Irish lamb shank, a dish that drove me crazy for its textures and flavors, and for dessert, pudding, which was really good. The waitress, a charming Valencian girl, advised and helped us at all times. Looking forward to returning soon!

The main course was excellent. But the dessert I ordered was bread and butter pudding. . It was burned on top and on the sides. When the waiter was told he took the dessert back to the kitchen . Was told than by a waitress that they could give the same dessert but it would be out of same batch that was serve up to me burned . When I decline that. She never gave me a option of another dessert. . Which suprised me . . Only told they will not charge me for the burned dessert that was serve up to me.
But I have to say my main course was excellent . .

Durante varios años, mi familia y yo frecuentamos Woodford para un par de comidas durante el período de Navidad, la comida es buena y consistente, y el ambiente es lo que siempre nos atrae. Reservar una mesa de antemano puede ser una buena idea también, pero si los Gastropubs en la ciudad de Cork, este es nuestro favorito

Nos encanta este lugar. ¡La comida siempre es para morir! Un año en Navidad nunca reservamos y estaba lleno... desconsolado. Este año reservé y como siempre fue fabuloso! ¡Del entrante al postre! ¡Increíble! El propietario es encantador también y el personal. ¡Llevamos unos diez años yendo allí! ¡Si estás en Cork necesitas ir allí! ¡Joya escondida!
