09/01/2025: Oh, dear readers, let me tell you about a place that, in its ambivalence, both demands and challenges my judgment. Because while in some respects it has the advantages of a noble establishment, in others it completely evades the demands on quality that I am used to placing on such an establishment.
The ambience, oh, the ambience! It is truly a place with a noble appearance, pleasant and noble at the same time, a refuge for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This is a really good place to stay, whether alone for quiet contemplation or for productive work. Particularly noteworthy is the coffee, which you can enjoy in front of the bistro - a drink that delights the senses. But oh dear, the coffee that is served within the walls can hardly maintain this standard. It is, how shall I put it, of a mediocre nature - a minor flaw in an otherwise praiseworthy framework.
However, the service deserves my appreciation. He is friendly, quick and efficient, always striving to serve the guest with the necessary attention. In contrast to some other reports that complain about long waiting times, I have so far been spared such inconveniences.
But, oh reader, let us come to the real stumbling block: food. What a disappointment, what an outrage to the palate of the discerning guest! Inedible, I say, with all regret. It completely lacks the quality that I would expect from an establishment of this class and makes it impossible to recommend this place as a gastronomic destination.
So my judgment remains mixed. For drinks, undisturbed work and the elegant ambience - truly suitable. But for food? An absolute failure. So I give it 3 out of 5 stars wisely and fairly. May the kitchen rethink its art so that this place may realize the full potential of its splendor.
08/10/2024: Typical hotel restaurant bar. Pasta bolognaise was marvellous. The city could have been better. The deserts were delicious. I went to this restaurant with my family after it had poured in cork. I would go again.
