The Wyatt Hotel in Westport

Loved our stay no faults at all from rooms to dinner to staff.

The staff were friendly. The room was very spacious, spotless and beautiful. Good mattress. Most importantly, it was QUIET! First time in a hotel that I heard no noise either from outside or other guests. Slept amazing. Room was heated properly. Hopefully I'll be staying there again and will have the same experience. By the way, the food in the restaurant is very good as well.

Would highly recommend this place, it's a great wee hotel in such a fabulous location right in the middle of Westport. And the staff are so friendly & helpful. The room we stayed in was a family room, it had air conditioning in which was needed as our stay was in the summer months. The room was very modern, with a nice ensuite with walk-in shower which had a nice ceiling window above it to let natural light in. It was very clean & tidy, which is always nice to see in any hotel. There was a great layout of plugs either side of the bed, which isn't usually the case in many other hotels. Even though it's a officially a ⭐⭐⭐ it is as good as any ⭐⭐⭐⭐ we've stayed in. I think the only reason it may not officially have it's 4th star is because of not having it's own pool on site. But there is an off-site pool you can use during your stay, which is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel, and you can ask at reception for towels for the pool which is great. The location of the hotel couldn't be better, the entrance to Westport house is just around the side of the hotel, there are many bars, restaurants & shops right on your doorstep. There is also a lovely little market in the octagon outside the front of the hotel, (I think the stalls change daily). The breakfast was also really good, it's made to order so it's nice & fresh when you get it. There's a great selection of continental options too, so everyone should have options whichever you prefer for breakfast. I was in Westport when I was younger & remember it's charm even as a child. I had been telling my wife how nice it was & for us to go there, when we finally did she fell in love with the place, as did my stepson. We will definitely be back to this lovely town next year, and the Wyatt is where we'll be staying every time we come here.

We stayed here for two nights and would stay again. Our room was clean and comfortable. Super glad we had a room on the first floor, because it does get hot in the room without air conditioning. (We stayed in June). The location is great-you can walk to everything in town. The breakfast was fine-not amazing but decent.

It couldn't be more central. Parking is available. Breakfast is a bit inconvenient, but good.

Comfortable and convenient stay with great access to Westport house and the lovely town of Westport . Stayed in family / quad room. Room was comfortable and spacious with a good sized bathroom. Room had items from previous resident such as false nails and a photo under bed and bathroom water glasses dirty ,a greater precision and attention to cleaning of room would be great For a family room it would have been great to have a fridge available. The hotel itself is visibly clean and well maintained. Staff at reception are welcoming and helpful. Dined here one of the nights for evening meal. It was fairly average. Waitress seemed extremely inexperienced and was forgetful had to ask a few times for simple things like napkins and pepper. Food was ok. You will find nicer spots to dine in Westport town itself! Pity no live band or music in the spacious bar connected to hotel. No gym or pool facilities but easy access to leisure centre and lovely walks adjacent to hotel. Breakfast had everything you need to set you up for a busy day exploring. Overall it’s a budget friendly stay with prime location for a family holiday in the west.
