Very deceiving from the outside, a really huge and most interesting pub (even found a wise man and a shepherd from a large crib of some Christmas past. Friendly and efficient service, and a sandwich that combines onion and banana (yes I did). Great spot.

We had brie for starters and it was delicious one of us ordered the duck spring roll but found it very oily so sent it back and got the brie instead much better. 2 of us got the scampi for mains and we were very happy. 1 got the steak it was delicious and 1 got chicken goujons and they were nice.

Top class Caesar Salad for Mains. Not on the menu but nothing is ever a problem in Burkes. 👏👏 Nice merlot too.

Without doubt the best Chowder ever but beware it’s quite substantial!! We then had Bacon & cabbage which was soooo good but I couldn’t finish all my mash hence no desert!! Just lovely wholesome traditional Irish food a must for any visitor. Thanks

Lovely country pub. Nice warm fire on . The food, vegetarian pasta special was delicious. Very friendly staff.
