Lovely country pub. Nice warm fire on . The food, vegetarian pasta special was delicious. Very friendly staff.

It's a cutely decorated place. The waitresses were really friendly. The food was soo amazing. One of the best spots we visited in Irland.

Perfect typical Irish evening: warm and inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent musicians and comforting pub food. I highly recommend if you are passing through Clonbur!

There had been a funeral earlier in the village so the pub was full. Lots of room in the restaurant out the back. Very nice place and staff.

Following reading reviews, and getting a recommendation from Martha the owner of Ryans River Lodge in Cong where we were staying we decided to try Burkes Bar and Restaurant for a Sunday evening meal. We were lucky that we were able to book a short notice a table as when we arrived it was extremely busy. A very friendly welcome from Collette, and and service throughout by all the staff. We had roast dinners (beef and lamb) - good sized portion, desserts (raspbery roulade, and Apple Tart). Two pints of guinness, and a glass of wine. We were treated to some taditional irish music from musicians in the bar aera. The bill came to €80.55 which we thought was excellent value. So impressed we decidied to have another evening meal on the Monday. Not as busy but stiil enough people eating, and drinking to make it a pleasant atmosphere, plus more irish music and songs from a different set of musicians . Again a very good meal of scampi and chips, two deserts, 2 pints of guinness, a glass of wine, and a whiskey came to €82.15. Collette was there again serving and we had a good chat. Also the other staff were lovely. Thoroughly recommend Burkes bar and Restuarant.

Cozy pub. Tasty food. Cheerful atmosphere. Wonderful traditional Irish folk from 'The Brennan's Family, together with Marcus Philibin and Brendan Begley'. Thank you for the beautiful evening!

We visited on a Saturday night and the place was alive! The atmosphere was friendly, the band were great & the Guinness excellent.
