A pleasant dining room with a fireplace or a view of the moors. Friendly and efficient service. Tasty dishes, generously portioned, at reasonable prices (under €20). Delicious homemade cheesecake for a sweet finish! One of our favorite places during our tour of Ireland.

Really lovely spot. The owner is so charismatic and friendly, you can tell he really cares about his business. The food was lovely too, very hearty Irish food. Would definitely recommend.

Had a fantastic experience at Burkes Bar and Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, hearty, and beautifully presented—and the service was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. There’s a great atmosphere in the place too: relaxed, local, and full of character, whether you’re popping in for a quiet drink or sitting down for a meal. A real gem in Clonbur and well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back! 👏🍽️

A traditional pub with live music and excellent food. Great for families with children.

Really lovely country pub. Visited with the Irish Subaru Drivers Club as a final stop in our Doolough valley run. The food was immensely tasty, and there's a huge amount of room in the back for dining, as well as a huge terrace overlooking the beautiful scenery as a smoking area. I got roast lamb and spuds, and it was absolutely beautiful. Well worth the spin.
