Town Cafe in Athenry

Best breakfast we have had in Ireland! Lovely cafe, very welcoming and friendly to both 2 and 4 legged guests. The breakfast was delicious and so big we don’t need to eat for the rest of the day. Really super cafe and highly recommended.

I got a takeout lunch and was impressed by the friendly helpful server, how quickly it arrived and how delicious it was. It was just over €11. It’s just what I liked, not too much bread and a great balance of protein to vegetables. The soup was full of goodness and flavour (I bet they used a good stock).

They had Gluten Free cake! Specified as being GF ingredients made in a non-GF kitchen. Staff were sound, accommodated kids with a high chair, they took our buggy off to the side somewhere, made it easy for us. Nice one.

Delicious, freshly cooked food - made to order. Menu has something for everyone. The meat is excellent quality. The coffee is hot and generous. Staff are always friendly and efficient. Really good value. A real gem in Athenry.
