Traditional Irish Night-Cornbarn at Bunratty Folk Park in Bunratty

Fab day out for the family. Highly recommend going.

We had a fantastic time at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park in Limerick – we spent over four hours there and easily could’ve stayed longer. It’s a great place to visit with family or friends, especially if you’re interested in experiencing a bit of Irish history in a fun and engaging way. The entire site is really well maintained. All the houses and buildings are in great condition, giving a vivid picture of how people lived in the past. One of the highlights was the interactive element – in many of the smaller houses, like the post office, school, or doctor’s house, there were people dressed in traditional clothes, playing roles from that time. They shared stories, demonstrated crafts, and even played musical instruments. It felt like a living, breathing village – almost like a small theatre set across the whole park. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

Wonderful! Relaxing. Interesting. Charming. A walk through cultural history from year 900 thru 1890 with the collections of houses. Artifacts and collections. Wonderful for all ages.

Interesting castle visit. The little village and castle had a Disney theme park vibe. Still, had fun for a few hours

It's a great place to visit. It's pity that it was drizzling when we visited on Easter's 🐣 egg hunt. Yet, the helpful staff tried to interacted with us and made it a memorable experience. You get to see the historic civilisation and how they lived. There is free car parking and cafés. There is also a souvenir shop as you enter/leave the Bunratty castle 🏰

It's not just a castle. It's quite a theme park. A very pleasant surprise. Highly recommended to spend a day with the family
