Spectacular place to visit- lots of history to take in, gorgeous scenery, and awesome customer service. Highly recommend!

Fantastic. A truly original castle, not renovated as is often the case with other castles to attract tourists. The surrounding park is stunning, perfect for a pleasant stroll. I hope the weather is favorable.

We were told that we had to visit Bunratty with our four year old child because of the folk park and realistic castle. It wasn't worth it to us. We had already visited Blarney (a better garden experience and the castle was plenty for us) and Muckross Farm (staff was much more interesting and wanted to share info, plus there were actual farm animals available). At Bunratty we didn't get to see anything but chickens and empty, unused pens. The castle was interesting enough but the staff was only dressed up, not interested in building up the experience. It was really busy and after 9 days on western Ireland it was the one thing we would have been happy to skip.

Interesting but not exceptional, considering the three km to do, on foot or by carriage, I can't say if it's worth it, perhaps photos from afar are enough

Beautiful castle. Besides the castle, you can also visit the Folk Park. Recommended.

Really nice place to spend a couple of hours, even more if you want to have a family day. Lots of thing to see, live music and place to eat

A truly enjoyable and informative visit! Whether it was the castle (even though it was extremely crowded, which made visiting some rooms less enjoyable), or the little village at the foot of it, everything was really well thought out. The activity leaders were very welcoming. The children loved the little train ride, seeing the animals, and being able to enter each little house and discover a different world. And they finished with some playtime in the park. The gift shop is also large and well thought out. It's hard not to fall in love!

Great walk around into how the homes in Ireland used to be. Lovely castle and great to explore inside with amazing views at the top. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Large gift shop with plenty to buy.

Awesome place for all age groups. Real experience of medieval times. Must visit in Bunratty.

Best castle I've been to. Allowed in many of the rooms and lots of furniture from 100s of years ago. Lovely reconstruction of a street with old houses and shops and woodlands walks
