This is a great place to visit absolutely magical at Christmas and the banquet at the castle is a an amazing show I'm going to go again next Christmas

We had a super night at Bunratty, my eldest thirteen enjoyed it the most. It was very pretty and well ran. Highly recommended.

Just happened to stumble upon this place because King John's castle was closed the day we went. Both me and my wife were extremely happy that it turned out this way. You can walk through the castle which is restored and the little village is awesome.

Admission for students is €13 Travel from Limerick serves bus 300 or 343 It is a very beautiful castle, very well preserved and is surrounded by a village where its houses and paths are beautiful, the people are very friendly and there are also souvenir shops where you can buy Irish souvenirs. Outside the castle there are places where you can eat and drink beers.

27/11/2024: This is a restaurant that I loved coming to, but this time will probably be my last, the food was good the portions were very small, last Christmas I ordered the black sole €32 and it filled my plate, last week I ordered the John Dory €36 and it was the size of a sardine, to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I can't understand restaurants serving small portions of food at and very high cost and think its okay,

09/12/2024: The food is delicious, the BBQ ribs are delicious and the burger meat is spectacular too. The pub is super old and pretty. If I can, I'll definitely come back. Dec.2024 I came back on a Sunday when I went to see the Castle and tried the Sunday roast for the first time, spectacular!!!!!! We also ate delicious salmon. Here you eat scandalously! The only thing is that it is too dark inside and I don't like to eat without any lighting.
