West Cork Hotel in Skibbereen

we had an outstanding weekend stay over at the West Cork Hotel. It had been 10 years since our last visit and it was even more charming than before. Tremendous service, a great Irish breakfast in the morning and a wonderful location combined with an extremely attentive and responsive staff contributed to an outstanding experience! I highly recommend the West Cork Hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting one of the most enjoyable parts of Ireland.

Beautiful hotel, our room had a river view , and a view of the old rail way bridge which is used for outdoor food/ drink , its rusty looking. Lovely breakfast each morning and staff very friendly and helpful. The owner of the hotel a gentleman. To add this hotel in Skibbereen is a ideal, when visiting other parts of west cork. Fabulous part of the country.

Just called for a quick coffee staff were very friendly, hotel is allways nice to call for coffee and food

Nice atmosphere to dine in and an interesting menu to choose from, attentive staff My dining partner had a problem with her steak, although once flagged up to Michael who was in charge of service, this was agreeably rectified Great choice if staying at the West Cork hotel, one of few options we found in town on a Monday night and a good one for us

Cosy and warm room with super bathroom facilities

Nice and good hotel. Rooms are great. Breakfast is well taken care of. Also possibility for dinner. Dinner in the hotel bar, good menu. Friendly staff. You can park your car in the large parking lot behind the hotel. (You have to look for it, the entrance is a bit hidden)

Stayed here for one night. Staff very nice, lovely old charm hotel. Parking on site free and plenty of it. Only down side was bar food. We ordered fish cakes as a main, but really they should be advertised as "potato cakes"... Could not taste fish in them let alone find some. Very disappointing aspect of what was a nice hotel in general. Prob would stay here again, but definitely would not be ordering fishcakes for dinner!!

Excellent place location wise, the staff are very good and helpful, room we stayed in big and spacey maybe needs a spruce up in terms of decor , clean though , overall very pleased

It's lovely place but not very well sign posted..all one way so bit tricky..a sign at the end of the street that everyone uses would help👌rooms gorgeous, especially bathrooms ,breakfast lovely
