West Cork Hotel in Skibbereen

Exceeded our expectations , staff very good and the food is lovely . Was a family reunion type trip and it was everything and more than once could hope for .

Unfortunately, our bed was full of other people's hair, and the bedding and towels were stained. The service was prompt and excellent; we were immediately given a new room and upgraded. The other room also had hair in the bed...but fewer.

A hotel with such a history that should and DOES know a thing or two about great old fashioned accommodation and service. Room was huge and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Nice to note that room safes would be overkill! I had the most succulent mouthwatering turkey and ham main for dinner, only problem was there were too many other customers there soI couldn't lick the plate😜 Breakfast service from 7:30 am, excellent with buffet and table service. Two perfectly cooked poached eggs for me. Thank you. Secure and free parking at rear by the side of the beautiful Ilen. What more can you ask for?

Had a lovely overnight stay in The West Cork Hotel January 2026 For a 3* hotel it’s got the feel, atmosphere and vibe of a 4* Great service from all the staff, we had a very full/tasty dinner in front of a roaring fire. Had everything you’d need for breakfast, with pleasant background music. Very well presented bedroom, comfortable beds, hot shower. Ideal location, plenty of free parking and just a short walk into Skibbereen.

Very nice hotel in the city centre, great and clean rooms, lovely breakfast, the only thing , no usb connectors for phone charging, but it’s ok 👍🏻

The West Cork hotel is a gem . The food is excellent and the rooms are comfortable. Nice to sit and chill with a good pint of Murphys. All the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is really good. The full Irish is delicious. Located right beside the river and close to everything in Skibereen town. All good
