We are regulars at Blackthorn because it’s our favourite restaurant in Galway. The food is really special and creative, always tastes amazing. We have never been disappointed. The service is wonderful, especially Fergal who knows every aspect of the menu and guides us through the wine list. Definitely go!

I am truly mesmerized by my experience here. Everything, everything was amazing. We came here because we are currently staying at the hotel and didn t expect anything special. But it was the exact opposite, food was great, service even better. There is so much to tell about how surprised we were. And the prices… we couldn’t believe how much we paid (in a good way). Best culinary experience in Ireland so far (and we have been to various « fancy spots). 10/10 would recommend. And, last but not least, we did go there with a 6 years old who was as happy as we are. Thank you !!
