White Oak Restaurant in Kilkenny

a bit old fashioned but clean....lights very dim bearly could see food

Fab hotel, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great bars open til the early hours with music and dancing.

I stayed at the Kilford Arms hotel last night. It was my first time traveling alone. It's in a great location, and is a short walk away from MacDonagh Junction and the train station. The room was comfy, but the television did not work in my room, but I did not mind as I spent a lot of time out and about. The staff are friendly and helpful, particularly Andrea at reception and Ella in the bar. Only downsides for me was the shower in my room was very awkward to use and I found it difficult trying adjust the temperature. I wasn't a massive fan of breakfast, but that could have just been me. Overall, I'd recommend the hotel for a short stay, especially for a shopping trip / staycation within Ireland. The prices are good and it's a comfy and welcoming hotel.

Kilkenny is fab. Hotel could do with a good old up date. Food excellent and service fab. 2 bars and old historic church with the bar built around it is priceless

We went with our hen party to the Drag Brunch and had a fab time! The queens are brilliant and really gave a good atmosphere. They were funny, attentive and entertaining and we had such a ball. Great drinks, good and service from the bar staff as well. Our bride Aoife was beaming afterwards, thanks guys!

We are just back from a 2 night stay, rooms are lovely food is gorgeous but the staff made the stay they were so helpful the owner is lovely man made us feel very welcoming an big shout out to Declan the best bar man an all the bar staff yous are great, definitely be back thanks so much 😃
