Windsor Bar & Restaurant in Dundalk

Windsor for Sunday lunch, delicious. Staff really accommodated , my elderly mother who appreciated the attention.

Really nice restaurant, decor etc. Food was nice however my fillet steak, which was a good size, was over cooked. I asked for med to well done but it was well done. There were plenty of waiters/waitresses about and service was quite quick however I was never asked if my food was ok as I was waiting for the opportunity to mention about the steak. The restaurant was busy and I would return again to give it another go. Back again, this time my sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and the service was very good. There were five of us at our table and everyone was impressed by the quality of the food and the service. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice bar downstairs and comfortable restaurant upstairs also with a bar. Food was exceptional! I had the chicken with lyonnaise potatoes and steamed vegetables, perhaps the freshest vegetables and the most delicately steamed I have ever had, piping hot chicken and potatoes. Pure quality, absolutely delicious and washed down with a pint of Guinness! Good enough for Biden and me too.

The atmosphere here is perfect and so is the food. Everyone here including the locals are so very sweet and nice. Massive steaks! Holy smokes, the potatoes are to die for and it's a hidden gem. Local and amazing. I would eat here again as my preferred restaurant.
