The food is good but the portions are tiny. The staff are friendly but made to use a stick to scoop on the beans so you hardly get any. Kind of surprising since beans are cheap. The burrito bowls are always 50% lettuce. Otherwise the food is good quality just not very filling.

I had a really good experience in here today. The service was absolutely great. Food was incredible and portion sizes are perfect! The man answering the phone today was really professional and helpful. This restaurant has gluten free options. Thank you very much!

Everything's fine until you get to the part about adding lime juice 🍋‍🟩.... I've been more than 3 times and they never have any. They use pieces of lime that they've already used and clearly don't have any juice left, and they just put that piece back in the same little bowl with the rest of the sad little lime pieces.

Stopped into Zambrero in Dennehy’s Cross recently and was really impressed. The food was fresh, tasty and made quickly, even though it was busy. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and well kept. Great option if you’re looking for a quick, filling meal in Cork.

I went to eat something at night; it's practically the only place open in the area. There was a line of about 6-7 people, and it took them 30 minutes to serve me. They're very disorganized in the kitchen; there were 5 people working, and the line wasn't moving. I had a burrito; they're big. It was okay, nothing special. They just scraped up the leftover salsa on it.

04/02/2026: OMG, I ordered two burritos on Deliveroo and had to come here to leave feedback! I’ve been trying different burritos around town, and this one is by far the best in terms of quality, taste, and how well it’s put together. Perfect layers of ingredients, with an amazing balance of flavors. Even the packaging was the best I’ve seen in Cork — well done, guys! I’ll definitely visit in person soon.
