12/02/2025: It's been a while since I visited this venue. It hasn't changed much but that's a good thing. Food was great and the service was excellent. Well done everyone.
08/02/2025: Been here a couple of times—food is always amazing, and service is generally good. It’s got a rock ‘n’ roll vibe and occasional live music. Definitely recommend the burgers!

12/01/2025: We stopped off in beautiful Malahide and got very hungry. We stepped into Scotch Bonnet and were greeted by smiles and great food. The atmosphere is very nice and family friendly. I recommend a steak, fish, chips and pizza as well as a nice drink. I will return to Ireland and will definitely come back here.
09/01/2025: We love the Scotch Bonnet. Great ribs, friendly staff. However last visit, we could see the food wasn't as good. Large portion of calamari for €22 was tiny, really overpriced. Was expensive overall for family of 5.

05/02/2025: Stopped to get a breakfast roll today,Guy i think is the Owner very very pleasent chap and best breakfast roll ive had
26/01/2025: Absolute Top quality greasy spoon diner by the southside port.
The owner runs it on his own now and is well established there for the last 20 odd years.
Pictures line the walls of all the celebs and dignitaries who have visited over the years the owner himself is approachable for a chat when it's not busy.
This is one of those places that you should check out sooner rather than later as it won't be there forever.
Breakfast roll is great and the coffee is great.

11/01/2025: I thought the restaurant was lovely however i thought supplement were a bit much for the steaks went for the jan special 70 for two and no steak on it i hadnt lkd at menu but tht name ribeye steakhouse steak would be on it ended up going for surf and turf 42 euros and wine 10 euros which i tht was expensive wkouldnt go back
08/01/2025: Visited with my 21yr old hungry son for a mid week early bird 2 course steak dinner. Both had starters and then 10 oz rib eyes medium rare. Both steaks were so grisly you could hardly get them cut, accompanied by 2 small frozen packeted onion rings and half tomato with tiny pot of sauce, thats it. Small tub of over cooked skinny fries were 6.5 euro extra. Two early bird, two course dinners, 1 beer for 100 euro. Absolute joke, don't make the same mistake I made and read the reviews before entering.
