13/09/2025: Spice bag is a rip off. Got one last night hardly any chicken in it and was like rubber. Paying really extra for a bag of chips not worth it counted 4 small peaces of terrible chicken. Curry is good that's all I can say

13/05/2025: Ordered chicken balls, ribs and chips. Was told 40 mins was here in 20 mins. The food was awful. I ate less than half and gave a little bit to my dogs. I was violently sick the following day and so were the dogs. One I had to bring to the vets who confirmed food poisoning. Avoid at all costs. Don't eat here

10/07/2025: I have to say, the restaurant itself was pretty impressive. Clean, well-organized, and had a fresh vibe going on! But man, what a letdown when it came to the actual food. Everything was just... bland? Like, completely flavorless. I thought adding some sauce might help, but that made things even stranger. The so-called "sweet and sour sauce" tasted nothing like what it should have! Even the spring rolls were totally tasteless. Such a disappointment. And get this: I specifically ordered just fried chicken with rice, couldn't have been clearer about it, yet our plates came loaded with a mountain of vegetables I never asked for! I mean, what's the point of being super specific with your order if they're just going to ignore it anyway? I won’t eat here again…

The food was disgusting and unsafe..we ordered chicken biryani..and it was pretty clear, the cook didn't know definition of a biryani..who puts peas and carrots in the biryani. Not only did it taste bad, the chicken was undercooked..I took a bite and immediately spit it. On top of that the manager (hopefully not the owner) seemed like he was unhappy to see a customer.. didn't smile, didn't serve water till we asked..overall a bad ambience, bad service and worst Indian food I have ever had .. please do not waste your time and money

11/10/2025: The food is good but the delivery can be all over the place and they often get the orders wrong. When you ring back about incorrect orders/long delivery times the staff aren't very helpful or don't provide any solutions. I used to like Mr Chen's but I will be ordering elsewhere in the future, I have had too many issues ordering from here.

21/09/2025: Ordered vegetables samosas and barely any vegetables in them. Butterfly prawns minuscule dip accompanied them and chicken tenders bland and to top it all off all arrived cold. So disappointed.
25/07/2025: We ordered a delivery with white wine.
The wine was lukewarm and when we immediately phoned Saba all they offered was a €5 credit note, which incidentally, hasn't arrived.
Not that we wanted a credit note but warm white wine is not what you would expect with a food order.
Won't risk Saba again.

Unfortunately the service did not match the tasty food.
Portion sizes were great, super flavourful and good value, especially as in Portmarnock.

Outrageous prices for what they offer: I had asked for a double portion of vegetables, they charged me extra for the request, but as you can see, while eating, there wasn’t a single trace of vegetables in my meal! Dishonest, incompetent, and absurdly expensive. They even asked for €2 more per person just to sit at a table! Unfortunately, Loughrea doesn’t have many good options, but I will never give my money to these thieves again!!!
26/7/2023 The food could have good potential and good quality, but for 3 years now the quality is scarce, the products are not very fresh, the costs (quality - price ratio) are high. They need a makeover of the staff and cooks! Also, due to the extra service cost, the place is empty, and the service cost isn't justified when the table is just an empty table with no cutlery whatsoever.
28/06/2025: Asked for jug of water, received bottled water - €3 each. Menu price different to til price - rip off.

14/09/2025: tried ringing about 20 times at 5 so as it says it opens got a answer at 5 .25 told them what I wanted de repeated it back to me 2 items and was told to wait 25 ro 30 mins for 2 items got it round I told them that it was not what I ordered and she said do I want my money back or live as a child about 11 I was talking to on the phone and when I said it to him he called his mum 🤔 # the food was like yesterday curry 🤢 # bin it omg # 1 star because it's the only way I can leave a review
07/09/2025: Got a roasted duck with orange sauce and chips, large portion, really good and cheap. Highly recommend
