06/01/2026: Has become our go to Chinese! Great meal deal offers and delivery is great too (we’ve always ordered through uber eats). Spice bag never misses and noodles are great too

04/04/2026: This was the worst experience. We ordered shrimp noodles, but the shrimp were rubbery and the sauce tasted more like pure vinegar than anything else. We also ordered sweet and sour shrimp, but they served us sweet and sour chicken instead. The sauce was disgusting—just straight vinegar. I will never come back here; this place is absolutely terrible.

13/03/2026: Service was very good, Food was very tasty and piping hot after a very short wait. Portions are very generous and great value for money here Would recommend 👌

18/01/2026: Dreadful, this takeaway used to be a local and favourite of mine went back food has really declined and service was appalling. Baby back ribs which are usually a favourite of my sons were completely full of fat with very little meat cheapest cuts of meat. Sweat potatoe fries which were €8 for one bag that was is fairness a large but were completely re heated from earlier and soggy so had to leave both ribs and fries behind. Spring rolls greasy also left behind, table we sat at table top was so greasy the menu stuck to the table top. 3 of us which one was a teenager and 1 child over €62 in the freezing cold plus we ordered food and drink when we ran out of drinks I asked for glass of tap water for my child waitress said no we only sell our drinks here. Shocked cold, cheap food reheated plus ignorant service and dirty tables while being completely ripped off.

08/12/2025: Unfortunately, for a place called Soba house, this has to be the worst yakisoba I've ever had. It doesn't have any actual flavor. It's just...sauce. But bland sauce. The fried chicken is also really poorly done, and unfortunately, a couple of mine were raw in the middle. All in all, not worth it. Which sucks because I was told this place used to be good. Guess not anymore.

11/03/2026: Very good food and customer service

01/03/2026: Their food is nice but unfortunately it took two full hours exactly for our order to arrive last night. Their phone was constantly engaged, when it did eventually arrive at 9.45 there wasn't even an apology. We order many takeaways from Kimmage and Terenure and unfortunately Mr Chen is the only place that we've ever had these disastrous delivery experiences. That was out last time ordering there.

01/04/2026: Incredible Panang curry! So fresh and flavoursome. As authentic as I've had since being in Thailand. Highly recommend.

29/03/2026: Sat in as a family of 8 for daughters birthday. Arrived at 5.20pm and food arrived at 7.45pm as staff had said theyvwere busy on takeaway orders. Each main dish is approx 25% extra for sit in byt takeaway was prioritised. Hmmm. I had asked on ordering if balti dish was used for cooking and serving and was told yes. Balti came in a bowl and was like normal tomato based bland curry. All the rest of my party had lost appetite when food arrived . Shocking experience had by all and business will suffer with these issues as they have now lost mine. Photo supplied as staff unaware of batli dish actually looks like as they said never heard of it haha

29/03/2026: I recently ate here for a birthday. 8 people with 2 children.. 1 person ordered 2 starters and then we were left waiting 2 hours for main courses. After complaining/asking how much longer 3 times and the actual hunger going off us we said we will take the food away at the takeaway price and leave they then came out with plates and started to serve the food. Id like to say that when we kept asking how much longer for the food they said.. "we are sorry we are busy with takeaways" they do not prioritize guests sitting in the restaurant... freezing and paying restaurant prices over takeaway orders and delivery... i was told this in an email..🤣 consequently our hunger subsided and only one person finished their food and we did infact 'takeaway' very bad service, very bad customer care.. no discount given and a 20 percent off next order offered.. after spending over 200 euro.. shocking service . oh, we also had to leave the restaurant to put more money on the parking meter as honest a review as possible.
