27/09/2024: Had dinner in Lana this evening with my daughter and it was awful!! The rice was reheated so totally disgusting and the sweet and sour chicken tasted terrible. I couldn't eat it as it was that bad! Didn't say anything at the time as your staff were lovely and didn't want to be complaining to them as not their fault.

26/08/2024: Disappointed with my takeaway. The chicken in the dish tasted like it had been reheated so had a funny taste. I’ve had a takeaway from here before and it was good. So very disappointed

02/10/2024: I have been a client since they first opened in Swords years ago and unfortunately I don’t think I will order again. While I understand prices are reviewed from time to time, it has now become very expensive for a takeaway. My last order came to 27 euros for a starter and a main. Firstly, I got the gyoza for starter and was a bit surprised to get 5 pieces instead of the 6 announced on the website. My beef main was close to 16 euros… add to that 4 euros mandatory delivery charge as you can’t pick up from Rush anymore and a cheeky 50 cents « processing » fee ( please explain what costs is that even covering). It should be called « taking the mickey » fee in my view. I also find the food quality has gone down significantly, the beef in my dish the last time tasted a bit weird and was quite chewy.

18/09/2024: Wish I could give ZERO rating, terrible service especially with a loud unpleasant Asian lady. Food was greasy and felt like left over, not fresh at all. We ordered veg spring rolls and they served us the meat ones. There was service charge of 10% included without any notice to the customer. STAY AWAY IF YOU CARE WHAT YOU FEED YOUR BODY AND SOUL.

05/09/2024: Got a spice bag trying the restaurant for the first time on takeaway and it was just chicken and chips. Barely any spice at all quite disappointing. Ended up putting my own spices on it then throwing it out as the chicken was very tough

30/10/2024: I loved the place! It’s a really good place for family/ friends. The staff was so kind and nice. And the best, you can buy something and get a free ice cream!

08/10/2024: Went to on midleton today with my daughter .Young staff member was the rudest person I have ever dealt with .Tried calling to speak to a manager last 3 hrs but nobody answering phone ..will never return she was an absolute disgrace..

02/11/2024: Very cool place. I visited Dublin for traveling and saw the front window say that you can order as much as you want so I decided to give it a try. All of the workers here were very welcoming and the food was amazing! Highly recommend.

31/07/2024: Wrong food delivered. Didn't answer the phone when I called several times to ask about the wrong order. Drove to the shop and there was a crowd of customers, eating in and ordering take out, complaining about extreme wait times, wrong food and poor service. The single most negative experience I have ever had with a restaurant

29/06/2024: I ordered the spice bag and was met with wonderful customer service, polite and fast. The presentation of the food was good and while the food is not terrible, I have eaten salt and pepper crackers spicier than this. It felt under seasoned in my opinion. Overall not bad and the texture of the chicken and chips are good with a nice vegetable to chip to chicken ratio.

14/11/2024: Absolutely awful food. Ordered half a duck and got less than a breast sized amount of duck that hadn’t even been seasoned. The sweet and sour was 5 pieces of boiled chicken in mildly sweet and sour water. The spice box came without curry sauce and the chips were stale, and the Penang noodles hadn’t been cooked properly- as someone of Malaysian descent, this was unacceptable. Would NEVER order from here again and would advise others to avoid as it’s a complete waste of money.

06/11/2024: Absolutely Dirt, only ok if you were very drunk. Nothing like a real chinese take away. How can your food be ready in 3 minutes. It's absolute dirt. Go to McDonalds or Supermacs at least you can eat it.

18/08/2024: We’ve been going here for as long as I can remember but during that time there has been several changes of management and with each one the standard drops and now it has hit an all time low. The new management have a job on their hands turning this around as the food was consistently dreadful and I mean dreadful! I don’t want to see any business fail but that’s the way this is going unless they find a chef that can cook!

27/10/2024: Ordered for takeaway. The green curry was fragrant and slightly spicy. Delicious. Also prawns were cooked right. Good value for money. Thanks

26/10/2024: Place doesn't have plates or bowls to eat your rice if you dine-in. If you would like to eat curry and rice in cardboard box then must try! (Spoiler)Spicy wings in starter comes drowned in sweetchilli sauce. No choice.. just don't be fooled by the google photoshopped pics from reviews. Dosent look anything like what the restaurant has posted. Protip ,polythene bags for dinein would cut cost for the management!

14/01/2024: Kubos closed towards the end of 2023 with zero notice to their loyal customers when they shut their doors - either in store, on social media, or online. They eventually put a sheet of A4 paper on their window to say that the establishment was undergoing refurbished and will be open again soon. Shocked to see its now gone and another generic taco chain has opened in its place. Horribly disappointing professionalism by the owner of Kubos on the run up to their exit from Douglas after all these years
