15/06/2025: avoid at all costs !!!! told me on the phone it would be 35 minutes, id even arrived later than that and was still waiting inside another 20 minutes !! maybe if the food was good but unfortunately the competition is poor and i think they think that they can treat customers anyway they want and dish up whatever they like in whatever order which is personally just outrageous

16/05/2025: Disappointing Experience at Wau Chinese, Trim – Great Pub Below, But Let Down Upstairs We started the evening in great spirits at the beautiful pub downstairs — warm atmosphere, really friendly staff, everything you’d want from a local. Naturally, we were looking forward to continuing the night with a meal at Wau Chinese upstairs. Unfortunately, the experience took a nosedive from there. At 8:30pm, I asked for a table for nine. Despite their listed closing time being 10:30pm, we were met with an abrupt “no.” I pointed out the opening hours, to which the response was, “Yes — for takeaway.” After some back and forth, they reluctantly said we could dine in if we sat down immediately. From the moment we sat, we felt rushed, unwelcome, and frankly, like an inconvenience. The staff were blunt and dismissive — not what you’d expect when dining out. The food itself was fine, but hard to enjoy when the service leaves you feeling uncomfortable. Overall, I left disappointed. If Wau Chinese wants to operate more as a takeaway, that’s fine — but they should be clear about it. At least then customers wouldn’t have to deal with that level of arrogance from front-of-house.

17/06/2025: Popped into The Drunken Fish before a concert — the location is perfect for that. The vibe was fun and relaxed, and the staff were friendly. The kimchi jjigae was really good, warm and comforting. The fried chicken and bossam were grand — not bad, just not super memorable. Overall, a handy spot with a few tasty dishes. I’d go back before another gig.

16/06/2025: We went to the drunken fish for a pre-gig meal. Enjoyed excellent service and food. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was busy and the atmosphere was great. I’m glad we booked.

30/06/2025: Food was lovely and portions were very big. Service was almost too good. The staff were constantly asking was everything OK which takes a little off the experience. There was no atmosphere as majority of visitors came for Take-Out and Monday night, so to be expected to a degree

03/05/2025: Ordered the mega box today and it was honestly the WORST food I’ve ever had. The entire thing was unbelievably salty to the point where it was inedible — not one person in my house could eat it. We ended up throwing it out, which is incredibly disappointing considering I paid 30 euro for it. For that price, I expected at least decent quality, but this was a complete waste of money. I don't usually leave reviews, but this was so bad I felt I had to warn others. Basically paid €30 for a bottle of coke… 😑 was the only decent thing. Never ordering from here again.

08/03/2025: Really disappointing as have enjoyed the food when visiting in person. However, the takeaway/delivery service is horrific. Waiting close to two hours for an order for two people. Tried calling for 30 minutes to see how much longer and the phone was consistently engaged. A delay in delivery is one thing but not being able to get through and speak to someone is another. Definitely do not recommend for takeaway with delivery.

04/07/2025: Soy un cliente fiel de Xian, pero después de la experiencia de hoy, fue decepcionante por decir lo menos. Mi comida tardó una hora en llegar, se equivocaron en mi pedido, el servicio fue lento, había pelos en mi pollo y me sentí mal del estómago después de eso. No volveré.

04/07/2025: I went to Cian for my usual i am a loyal customer but not after today i went in services was shocking it took an hour for food , messed up my order , hair in my food and left me waiting after asking for a simple order i will not be returning …….

18/06/2025: The worst Thai food I’ve ever had, hands down. I’ve worked in professional kitchens cooking Thai cuisine, so I hold Thai food to a high standard - but even by the most basic expectations, this was abysmal. The curries had no depth of flavour whatsoever - just an overwhelming coconut taste with the faintest hint of garlic. Every meat was appallingly bad: poor quality, dry, chewy, and cooked completely wrong. The mixed starter box was somehow even worse - terrible flavours, cheap ingredients, and every single item cooked badly. It’s extremely rare that I would refuse to eat a meal, especially one this expensive, but I couldn’t bring myself to finish any of it. This was by far the worst takeaway I’ve had in years. Avoid completely.

29/06/2025: Never met of a more rude waitress. We came in for a quick bite at 8:15 and immediately was told that the restaurant would close at 9:15. No hello or welcome. We tried order food and I ordered a starter and main course and was told they would be brought out together when I asked if I could have the starter first, I was very rudely told no, that they do not do that and that they will even say no you can't order a starter at times. I never been spoken to so rudely in a restaurant before. we cancelled our order and left. If you don't like your job maybe try work somewhere else?

15/05/2025: This was my 3rd visit to Lana around the country, every time I have the most amazing meal. The staff at this location were very friendly, the food came so quickly and such amazing quality fresh foods. I always order the chili and cashew with veg & tofu. I usually don’t like tofu but Lana do it beautifully. The chips were so fresh and tasty. The free ice cream after meal is a lovely bonus!

19/05/2025: Great place Delicious food, shrimps are cooked perfectly. Polite service, we understood each other despite the language barrier. On the second floor there is a cozy balcony for company. Thank you for making our vacation delicious

19/05/2025: Great staff, fast service, very tasty food, affordable prices. We easily found a common language with foreigners and made an order. I advise everyone to go to this place! There are places for any groups (there were 11 of us)
