05/10/2024: Food and service was excellent, very friendly staff

30/09/2024: I got chicken chow mein and to tell you I could have made it nicer and cheaper at home is saying something and I'm not Asian. We were on a wkend break with the girls and one of use collected to order for us. We'll the noodles were way over cooked and the chicken looked as if it was thrown in and that's all I had. So sauce as it was so so thick on soggy noodles that it was a dry sickening meal to eat. I wasted €10 on that crap when I could have made it for half the price at home. No more takeaways for me as they are not worth it anymore. The food outside has gone so far down hill in quality and taste that its not worth it. My friends meals were nice but I'm not taking that chance. No vegetables not even onions just noodles and chicken. This was only on Friday 27th September 2024. I had to throw the whole thing away as it was so disgusting I wouldn't even feed to a rat, he probably wouldn't eat it either come to think of it. No point in doing the place up to dish out crap food. Very disappointed customer here. I only gave one star out of politeness otherwise in my option of what I received they don't even deserve that as I've eaten there many a time and it was delicious but food is gone to he'll in a hand basket since 2020. There isn't many good and nice food places anymore. It's a pitty.

22/05/2025: I have been a huge fan of San Sab for years. I go to Drumcondra branch every week and have done for the last few years, even make an appearance to Clontarf the odd time also. The last few experiences have not been so pleasant for me. I’ll start with Clontarf, myself and my partner went a few weeks back and were greeted to the place busy as usual which I love to see! We were told to wait 20 mins which was no problem. Then we waited 45/50 mins and was told the kitchen was taking last orders soon and not sure if they could take us, after telling us they would have a table ready. Food was poor and then staff which seemed to be young were quite rude. Drumcondra service has been quite bad lately, we received some cold chicken skewers, I had ordered bao buns without cucumber and it came with cucumber then when returned staff weren’t so pleasant. Disappointing experiences lately which is annoying! As I love the place and the food is amazing

11/05/2025: Incredibly disappointing, I Ordered a Tofu spicebag and regular spicebag for takeaway because I heard it was “the best” , as soon as I opened the bag oil poured out of it and I could see straight away it was incredibly soggy and oily. The spicebag itself was a big enough portion but tasted like it was covered in sugar syrup and had no flavour or taste at all! Service was very good and staff were very nice but the spicebag was not good at all!

04/05/2025: Extremely poor food to be honest I got the chicken Ramen. Serviced up on a bowl with the sauce all spilled out the side. The ramen soup was like a hot-pot instant soup at best My wife got chicken terraike. The meat was tough. At best. Not sure where all the good reviews are coming from but I would be goi g back at all.

17/05/2025: Perhaps the rating is a little exaggerated, but only a little. A solid 4+ or 4.5. Usually everything is tasty, served quickly. A polite, diligent woman served us mostly. She can always prompt and advise. There are many cafes nearby, but we usually choose this one. Especially today. It's hot. In others there were a lot of people, stuffy and noisy, but here is the best thing - quiet, cool and not too many visitors. For 25-30 euros, the two of us manage to have a normal snack. We hope to visit again. Nearby is the university hospital. When my mother was repeatedly treated there, we examined all the cafes opposite. For us, this is probably the best.

04/04/2025: 11 of us had dinner in lemongrass last Sunday "mothers day" the food was beautiful.. however there was an add on charge of 30 euro for booking a table for 6 or more people.. we weren't informed of this when making the booking , it was pointed out on the front cover of the menu when I questioned it.. it is not visible when viewing the menu online.. I thought it was a very sneaky add on. It would have been 3 separate tables when booking had this been pointed out... I don't see how this applies when the same amount of people are being served whether it be 1 or 3 tables.. we would have been leaving the same amount in a tip but not any more when dining there.. it nice to leave it of your own free will rather than being compelled to do so.. Just to be aware of this for a large family when booking your table...

22/04/2025: Very sorry to give a bad rating. We had a takeaway, Very bad food! Naan was good, chicken tikka masala was worst, never expected tikka masala to be sweet as a dessert. Being diabetic, my sugars level went to 14! Chicken tandoori in starters tasted old chicken and it was just marinated in regular some fried chicken coating and named as tandoori! Wondered was the food given bad as we had a takeaway??? Being an Indian buyer felt they have made a fool out of you . Never do this lads! You are going to ruin your business. I don't think I would suggest or come back to this restaurant ever. sorry.

02/03/2025: Have only had take away from here but it’s a brilliant option if you’re tracking cause them publish their macros on a PDF. Excellent veggie/vegan options too.

06/05/2025: We had a wonderful meal in Lana. We shared a starter of Crispy Wontons followed by a Pad Thai for me and Crispy Chilli Satay Chicken for my husband. It was all delicious with the Pad Thai being the best I've ever tasted, full of peanuts. We also had a bottle of white wine bill was 64 euro. Excellent meal for a chain restaurant .

15/03/2025: Food was okay, the beef was a bit dry. BBQ ribs was delicious and meaty. Service was good and the atmosphere was good.

01/05/2025: Had a get together with some friends and was unfamiliar with menu...a gentleman I believe his name was shehara went above and beyond to satisfy our needs being patient and taking the time to explain the menu ,food was perfect we be back soon

08/04/2025: Tengo una bolsa de especias para llevar para picar mientras deambulas por Galway. Fue enorme y solo 8€ más cambio. El servicio fue cortés y rápido. Papas fritas y pollo. Mucho para compartir con la familia. Picante y salado, ¡puedo ver por qué es un bocadillo popular en Irlanda!
