04/04/2024: Intro Summary: Restaurant and Pub in Historical Former British tax Excise Buiding, presumably for the boats. Relaxed attitude, good food upstairs and downstairs restaurants seating areas, with free do it yourself karaoke in the bar lounge area, often attended by small groups. Stars removed for lack of bar staffing and security, as well as the lack of substantial smaller options in the bar menu. Popular spot for food in the restaurant Upper as well as Restaurant Lower areas. Seating was visibly 80% full one Saturday night. Which beat the other restaurants on the street. The bar is quieter though and could be improved and more popular, if there were more bar staff, floor staff cleaning tables and door security. At over €15 for any main meal, the bar menu could be more reasonably priced for casual bar and lounge dining, with more protein and carb €12-15 main course options and an option for a substantial protein based burger equivalent at €6-€8 - with currently only chips in sauce at around this price point. A new bar menu would also take advantage of proximity to the NCI college. Larger chicken wings and chips platters are available. (Avoid Chilli sauce on chips option, which as a stirfry condensed sauce is too strong, with negative consequences for days.) Beer is average to reasonable in price, from 6-7 euro. . Security is too laid back at times, with no security bouncers. People walking in off the street. Only one bar staff downstairs who is stressed stretched, trying to be security as well by keeping an eye out, as well as this one staff even trying to act as floor table cleaning staff. Whereas the Harbor Master pub up the road, has three or four bar staff for the same size place, with three ir four floor staff servers and cleaners, as well as a door Host monitoring people entering. There is a difference between the Harbourmaster's quality Western standards and an over emphasis on under staffing for maximum profit in the Korean restaurant bar, at the expense of customer safety, staff happiness and customers' table needs in the lounge, which would help general atmosphere. There is more profit and popularity for any place, if basic levels of staff are maintained. Conclusion: The focus of this place is on the restaurant, with less staff given for the large bar Lounge. A quite fun place which supports live karaoke that gives an opportunity to mingle between groups and meet new people.

31/03/2024: One of, if not the best Korean restaurant in Dublin! The food is just amazing, many options to choose from. I’ve been there 2 times, whereas one of them, we ordered main dishes, and the second time was to try the unlimited BBQ! 35 euros was totally worth it! Although the staff did take a bit long to take our orders and help us settle down.

11/03/2024: I was recommended this restaurant by plenty of friends but just felt disappointed. Although the restaurant itself was not busy for sit down customers, we were seated next to the queue for the takeaway part, after reserving. And there was plenty of traffic in and out, beside us, around us etc. It's just an awkward set up. I was waiting a long enough time at the door for anyone to come down to me, although there were three servers at the bar, chatting and that. As for the meal itself, the meat ordered was very chewy. And I honestly didn't get the hype. The interior is nice though. But more style than substance I'm afraid.

01/02/2024: I was quite disappointed with Chung's. It was busy which is fine but we were waiting a long time for our food. I got the beef satay which I have to say wasn't the best. I've had better from a takeaway. We had a few beers but our bill came to over 98e. They charged for the egg fried rice and the noodles. All in all I will not be going back to Chung's any time soon.

10/12/2023: I recently dined at Top Taste Sligo and felt compelled to share my experience. While the ambience was pleasant, I found the portion sizes of the Lebanese dishes to be somewhat disappointing, especially given the price point of over 20 euros. The servings consisted of 4 to 5 small pieces of meat, which left me wanting more. The taste of the dishes suggested a possible reheating, and I couldn't discern a clear connection to authentic Turkish cuisine. The shawerma chicken, in particular, had an unpleasant flavour. Regrettably, I can not recommend Top Taste as I believe it falls short of justifying the expense. I hope the restaurant considers refining these aspects for a more satisfying dining experience.

18/02/2024: The starters were dry and tasteless..the penang was ok..the kaprow was inedible it was steaming straight from a microwave..we couldn't eat it at all, spoke to the manager and he was unhelpful and dismissed the complaint, as loyal customers who have eaten here for years..we won't be eating here again! When we realized there was mushrooms in the Penang we were grateful you agreed to give a new one, surprisingly it was cooked in 4 mins..the kraprow was still steaming after 15 mins on the table the chicken in it was like rubber. I do realize we were the last customers of the night. Yes I did step outside the door and realized that I left my bottle of wine behind..and was given another one. I myself never leave a bad review but on this occasion I did..no one came to check on us to see if everything was ok with the food..we got to the counter to pay and we said it then..the reaction from yourself was that you never get complaints about the food and that was it..it was inedible it wasn't touched at all. I'm sure you saw when you cleared the table that we left the starters uneaten and the kaprow untouched. To pay 56 euro for food that was barely touched is unacceptable and to try and shame and embarrass me about the bottle of wine is a low blow from your end.

18/02/2024: Made our first visit to Soi40 this weekend. We were really impressed with the fast friendly service. Food was served up in no time, piping hot in generous portion sizes. I think this will become a regular go-to spot for tatsy Thai food

10/03/2024: I got a special offer from Uber eats so decoded to try Narra delivery. Unfortunately I wouldn't order from here again. It took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive and the food was cold. Maybe the food might have been nice when it was hot or if you ate in the restaurant but it didn't travel or eat well. Some of it was quite oily and bland. The nicest thing I got was a side sauce of satay which is saying a lot considering we got duck, noodles and Bangkok fried chicken. I would say they need to reduce the catchment area of their deliveries because I think I live too far away for the food to stay fresh or warm. It's a 20 minute drive but thats longer when you consider other deliveries are being made on the way.

If we had eaten there we certainly would have taken it straight back. Now this is the second incident we've had - consecutively. Will Not Be Going Here Again!!

11/02/2024: Absolutely disgusted after ordering food from Rose Garden! While finding a black hair on my food and informing Rose Garden about it, they were only willing to replace the food if I returned the current one which I had thrown down the bin, but kept the piece with the hair as proof for them. I was very surprised when they turned around and said sorry we can’t help you if you threw the food in the bin and hung up the phone without providing any sort of solution! Very poor customer service, and was absolutely disgusted to find that black hair in it!! Will not be ordering from Rose Garden again and dealing with such poor and unprofessional customer service! Rose Garden, own up to your mistakes and give customers back their refund when unsatisfied with their food or if there is hair in it!!
