The best restaurants in Carlow

02/05/2024: Food was delicious lovely soup and dessert.. Staff very friendly

01/05/2024: Ignored by staff member for ages even though table service was in place,After several attempts to get her attention she came over with a very bad attitude and took the order. When she returned with the order she refused to bring card machine out and said I have to go in to pay even though they always bring card machine out few minutes later I see her bringing card machine out to another table opposite. some staff need to do course in customer relations and etiquette. They bring shame to good staff who work alongside them. It's put me off going to Dinn ri again. There seems to be no criteria for employing someone to work in Dinn ri as I have seen this attitude by a few staff members. Educate train and monitor your staff's behaviour.

12/03/2024: Pimento has become my favourite tapas in Carlow. Great menu to suit varied diets, great atmosphere and really lovely staff.

09/01/2024: My self and my wife visit Carlow town 3 to 4 times per year. The Thatch pub is the highlight for us. Definitely the friendliest pub in Ireland both staff and locals.

02/04/2024: It took 45 mins for a sandwich, very slow service. Coffee was very bland and cold. Staff were very rude about situation. There are much better places to go in Carlow, would not recommend here at all. I told them I will not be returning and I will not be.

20/03/2024: I only had a coffee in this place which was really good, smooth and enjoyable. The coffee deserves strong 4.5 stars. The gentleman behind the counter could have been a little bit nicer, hence 4, not 5 stars.

14/03/2024: Love the food and the cold Guinness zero on tap! Staff always nice. Food portions huge and prices very reasonable.

08/03/2024: Breakfast was OK, service a bit slow and as a group we ordered separately, we ordered tea each but only one pot arrived to share.
