07/03/2025: Look it’s nothing special, it’s not the worst I’ve had but definitely not the best.
I ordered Singapore noodles house special because I only like skinny noodles and what I got was medium noodles. The prawns was nice in the house special but the chicken was not. Most of it ended up in the bin leaving me frustrated. If you’re advertising Singapore noodles then give me Singapore noodles!
However, the starter, salt and chili prawns were very nice. I’m just so disappointed on the main meal.
Doubt I’ll be back.

Absolutely amazing! The spice bag was packed with flavor—perfectly crispy chicken balls, extra tender chicken chunks, and just the right amount of heat. 🔥 The curry sauce was rich and silky, pairing beautifully with the spice bag and those thin fried noodles. 🍜✨ Everything was fresh, piping hot, and generously portioned.

21/03/2025: Look the personal was nice and even it looks fancy but the food… my bf dish has the beet overcooked and even it smelled burned and mine was tasty same when you accumulate fat in the kitchen and you don’t clean it.

15/03/2025: Forever forgetting to include items from the order. Isn't the cheapest so would expect to get the full order placed but rarely do. If ring to advise them, they're rude and act like they've been inconvenienced rather than the customer.
19/02/2025: Today I placed an order through UberEATS, I ordered chili wings and prown crackers, the wings were definitely in bad condition, they tasted pretty bad, and the crackers were crumbly and very greasy, Only the chips were saved from the bad taste, disappointed

15/02/2025: Great spot, if I'm unapologetically honest the spicebags were unreal years ago and I used to eat them at least once of twice a week. I moved away and when I came back they changed recipe price and portion size, its Still nice but it's less food for more money and it's not at tasty unfortunately

13/11/2024: Hot royal plaza last night shud be ashamed therselves absolutely disgusting waited 1 hour satay chicken was pink gull salt salt and chilli chicken balls was all cut in half make look loads rock had batter cudnt even bit chicken wings was pink inside and so crispy cidying even eat whole thing went in bin place shud be shut down

23/02/2025: I not sure if its a new chef but wow the food I ordered last night was terrible. Spicy chips with veg, requires "Spice" not salt and sugar a few slivers of onion, zero spice not a chilli in sight & no peppers. Spring rolls usually lovely, one bite & the oil spurted out. Duck hotpot was also not nice according to my partner. I want to stay a customer but the food I received will prevent me for re-ordering... such a shame 😞 If the reviews improve I might consider ordering again but you've lost a customer till then.

Went in this evening to order, and while literally just clarifying a small detail in my order - the staff member was extremely rude, no manners whatsoever and sighed at me like it was an inconvenience for her. I get deliveries from here often and the delivery drivers are lovely and have more manners than this staff member. Really off putting as I’ve only ever had lovely food from here but the customer service today was awful.

Worst customer experience I have ever encountered in my 46 years on this planet.
My daughter accidentally ordered on line and chose the incorrect County. Human error eh. Rang immediately and was told the food was cooked and nothing could be done to rectify the mistake.
They really need to take a long hard look at their customer service.
Mandatory1 star has to be ticked in order to post.
This is the only reason one star is attached to my review.
Just to add I rang within 60 secs of the order been placed.
There was no way the order was in progress within 60 seconds.
The Oriental Express Kilmacthomas in Waterford via Oriental Express Dun Laoghaire...
Easy mistake for a teenager to make.

27/11/2024: Ordered a delivery. This took 1 and half hours to come, had to call in twice about where the order was. The delivery driver was abusive and told me he is just a driver and how is he meant to know where he is going 😅 Food was stone cold. This place has turned into a complete joke stay away.
24/11/2024: I’m new to living in Lucan, got a takeaway from Chinatown for four people and we all loved it. Each of our dishes were very tasty where two of us had meat where it was excellent quality. We were very impressed. When I rang to order by phone, they were extremely busy (rush hour on a Sat evening) but yet very polite & welcoming on the phone. I’d highly recommend Chinatown.

17/12/2024: Went for the new spice box meal deal. You get the spice box, which is the weight of a small child or Chihuahua. Hearty portion indeed. And a pot of curry sauce and a can of Coke. All for the wallet friendly sum of €12. Now. This was my first Spice Box experience so I might be slightly biased. But what an incredible culinary take away journey I went on. Finished the lot. Perfectly spiced hearty chips, crispy and fried to perfection. I was surprised to find it all nestled on top of a delightful bed of chow mein. The crispy chicken and chicken balls paired well with the crunchy vegetables. The delight of the curry sauce. All served pipping hot. Would go again. Maybe tomorrow. Depends where the wind takes me. Solid spice box. Go on, spice up your life. Take me down to Canton City where the Spice Box taste great and the sauce is pretty.
