11/11/2024: We like to visit whenever we can as the food is always delicious and the service is very good. Although I have taken off a couple of stars for service, because there is a middle age lady who works there and she can be extremely annoying. She literally stares at the customers while they are eating and it’s very annoying. She doesn’t have good English so some orders are wrong when you get served. Instead of being helpful, it is off putting.
My only other issue is the cutlery, I have arthritis in my hands, as does my wife, and it is so difficult to balance the knife and fork and use. We have actually heard other couples discussing bringing their own knives and forks to the restaurant.

The food I got was excellent. I had a chicken curry which was plentiful and very nice.

13/10/2024: 2 hours after placing my order and ringing them twice, I discovered my order wasn’t even in the queue… Rather than apologise and make the order quickly, the guy on the phone blamed the kitchen for “not accepting it” and just told me to contact Deliveroo for a refund…honestly the worst experience with a takeaway I’ve ever had! Truly awful experience filled with contradicting information from the first time I contacted them. Unless I pushed for more info I’m convinced they just would have left the order run indefinitely and never deliver it! Disgraceful - avoid this place like the plague!
17/09/2024: My first visit, and there is no reason that I wouldn’t return, and equally no reason I would not highly recommend. Orchid is a classy establishment, intimate and inviting, not your every day suburban restaurant. Orchid has a touch of class… for those who want your every day Chinese, this is not for you, but for those who want a Chinese that counts as a ‘date night’ or a night out with your best friend or better half, this is for you. Brilliant food, service, atmosphere.

Honestly was more like hassle and an interruption for them. Disappointing as we always go on the regular and now have now been put off going back

13/11/2024: Hot royal plaza last night shud be ashamed therselves absolutely disgusting waited 1 hour satay chicken was pink gull salt salt and chilli chicken balls was all cut in half make look loads rock had batter cudnt even bit chicken wings was pink inside and so crispy cidying even eat whole thing went in bin place shud be shut down

2 chicken balls cut in half. More salt than food. so cremated wasn't sure if was chicken or rib.

19/10/2024: Staff are extremely rude. Received the worst 5 in 1 of my life as the quality of the food was terrible and also missing items. My friend got a katzu curry which wasn’t a full dish and also clotted at the bottom with unprocessed powder. When the restaurant was contacted I had to speak to 4 different people before my complaint was dealt with. They agreed to send a new order but was met with hostility by the delivery driver when answering the door. He then demanded the old dish which was not made clear on the phone prior, when the old dish was supplied it was thrown on the ground of the street. Worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Do not order from this restaurant if you value your taste spuds.
18/10/2024: Delivery man had to come back to swap my order as they sent the wrong dish. He took back the incorrect dish and threw it on the path outside my house. I’m really unimpressed. Won’t be ordering from them again.

26/10/2024: Fast and efficient service however food was not to my liking. Got a beef chow mein and was very oily and salty. Used smaller noodles and I normally prefer thicker egg noodles.

14/05/2024: Had buffet was worst food we could ever had . Too Salted we complain but they bring us same kind of salty food. We had food there before was bad. But this time our experience was terrible we couldn’t eat anything we paid 100 euro wasted our time and money . Service was not good. My daughter has to go n ask for spoon and fork. Terrible do no waste your money in there!!!
