13/12/2025: Ordered online and was told the food was “on the way.” After over an hour of waiting, we called to check — turns out they hadn’t even started cooking the food yet.
The woman on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful, showed zero interest in fixing the situation or apologising. Just attitude.
When the food eventually arrived, it was mid at best — absolutely not worth the wait or the hassle.
Complete waste of time, terrible customer service, and misleading updates. Won’t be ordering here again.
27/11/2025: Absolutely horrible last few experiences but thought it was a once off, got it tonight, issues with collection but besides that the food was not good at all. For years it’s been the only place we’ve gone and I will not set foot back in here. Rang up to let them know and they wanted me to return the food?? I live 20 mins away. The curry sauce tasted like cinnamon (hadn’t done before) chicken was so stringy and chewy. The prawn crackers were the best part. Never again don’t know what’s happened

23/10/2025: This place use to be the best Chinese! We got this as a family on Sunday, 3 big shrimps in a Peking chicken dish and the kung pao beef smell was unbearable.

10/11/2025: All the staff was fine bar the young lady there, my husband and i noticed she kept staring at him (its normal for people in customer service to watch out for customers but this was overdone while completely disregarding my existence) and kept trying to speak to him (for example waiting for us to leave before asking him personal information), this made us both uncomfortable

07/12/2025: I have ordered food first time on Friday night arrived in 57 min im 12 walk , food quality terrible noodles were to spicy to eat meat and duck quality very dry when rang the reception to ask how long for my food to arrive some very rude Chinese girl said very busy and hang up the phone .
27/11/2025: My boyfriend are regulars at this place but today there just something off about the order.
Usually when we order duck it all comes it all comes together but not today so we rang up the restaurant to confirm we had the right order in and this lady on the phone is just so rude, going on and on about whatever it is that she thinks she was going on about.
Even hung up the phone on us twice.
Now I’m not the type to do this but that’s it for me. Today marks the last time with Rose Garden.
You need to sort out your customer service or you risk running out of business.

16/05/2024: Went to the one in dundrum and had 2 young girls begging the counter who proceeded to talk amongst themselves and didn’t engage once during the order. Honestly was more like hassle and an interruption for them. Disappointing as we always go on the regular and now have now been put off going back

19/12/2024: Tuve una confirmación allí recientemente no puede faltar la comida altho porciones arnt el mejor y mi padre solo bebe Guinness a la que nos cobraron 6 € por lata cuando un paquete de 8 Guinness es 10 € en la tienda precio muy poco razonable.

13/05/2024: Regular customer just been treated like dirt by person on phone. Always order using their app. Each order get a text and for every 10 you get a discount. Discount codes automatically apply and you cant charge them so even though discount code was on account when tried to order it wasn't taking ir off order so I called. The person on the phone was horrid. Rudest person I ever came across. Told me they didn't sent texts and hung up. I called back said Did you hang up she said yes because we don't send texts. I explained it was from ordering app and had she an email address I could show her the texts she said roughly come to the shop!! And hung up. I'm agoraphobic. I don't care about the discount I care about being treated like dirt from staff. No one is bothered. But you don't speak to customers like that when they are not being rude
