29/12/2024: Food was amazing and very delicious. Really affordable price and was worth for our journey in Tralee. Very nice staff and hats off to the chef. Very nice lady Definitely coming back..

29/11/2024: I recently dined at Tamarind in Tralee, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious—starting with the soup, continuing with the main course, and ending with a delightful dessert. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, making every bite memorable. The service was outstanding as well; the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, which made the evening even more enjoyable. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. I highly recommend Tamarind to anyone visiting Tralee. This place is a gem, and I would gladly return any time!

08/01/2025: Very large restaurant with the an overextensive menu. As usual, the use of english language was not easy. Waiters do not smile, nor do they make it easy to order. Very abrupt and in a hurry. Poor hospitality, which seems the norm in the uk. It would be very different in their home countries. The decor is lavish. Pretty for a while. The food was ready quickly but not generous for the upscale prices. All condiments are sparingly provided. I have eaten abroad and this uk practice is very stingy. Tastewise I missed the authenticity. Far too westernised. Strange because more than half the restaurant customers were eastern. Not a satisfying experience. Food far from expectations. Dry duck. Badly made fried rice. Just one pot of jasmine tea for 3 diners. At the prices in the menu most restaurants do unlimited pots of tea. Not a happy experience in all. I'll stick to eating oriental food in countries that care for quality and hospitality.

27/10/2024: The customer service in Sunshine palace was second to none ! The staff were so friendly and helpful the minute we walked in the door ! The food was also amazing ! I will be returning without a doubt !

22/12/2024: Decided to try Pagoda for a change and the three times I've ordered take out, the food was cold...the spring rolls, noodles and rice all cold..this is frustrating as I'm only a 4 minute drive from the place. I have to assume they don't have enough drivers to deliver as each time I was waiting over an hour for my food. Another delivery driver is needed.

13/12/2024: I and my wife visited the Pagoda Chinese Restaurant at Manor West..( beside MacDonalds) this evening. As always we received a warm welcome from Mai and the staff. The Menu gives a wide variety of choice at a very reasonable price. The Food was fresh and beautifully flavoured.... compliments to the Chef. What is very noticeable is how spacious and clean the dining area is... . well done to All.😃🙌

06/12/2024: literally the worst Chinese food we've ever gotten anywhere. Asked for a 4 in 1 expecting strip chicken ir chicken balls to be included. Instead when we got home we found rubbery, plain tasteless chicken pieces. Disgusting soggy chips also and charged an extra 1 euro to have curry sauce in a separate. Last time we will ever order from here

06/08/2024: Excellent food and very friendly staff ! The lady was extremely helpful and kind. The portions were huge so we couldn’t finish but she wrapped the rests for us to take away.
