Nana's Tea Ennis
Ennis
09/08/2024: I've ordered from here two times, both have been slightly disappointing. The tapioca pearls were slightly stodgy and didn't have a very fresh texture, and the drinks tasted very artificial. The service was okay, but the shop isn't a very nice place to sit in while you have your drink. Overall I feel there's a lot to be desired, 4.9/10.
30/07/2024: literally the cutest place ever!!! staff is so kind and the boba is amazing <33

Enzo's
Ennis
04/02/2026: The middle aged lady working there intentionally stole money from me. I went to tap my card and it didn't work according to her and then she charged me again. The thing is the first attempt was for 16.50 and the second for 14.50 both were successful, this was done intentionally to avoid it looking like it was a double charge. The food was supposed to be 14.50. Thief!
This happened on the night of Feb 1st at 1.58am, I have the receipts to prove it. I don't know if the lady in question is the owner or not, but this is horrible behaviour. I was wondering why she typed on the card machine for the second attempt it's because she stole 16.50 from me.
To the owner look at your cameras at exactly 1.58am and you'll see the incident or go through your electronic statements you will see exactly what I'm talking about.
I know it's 16.50 but please get this transaction reversed before I take I take this further.
01/02/2026: €7.50 for garlic chips after midnight.
Robbery.

Bistro 41
Ennis
16/06/2024: Closed. As not at this Enis location anymore.
02/06/2024: Although they have the business still open on google, they've closed down! We took a detour to get food here, but all was not lost, we found a place called Brogans in the end and had the most amazing food!

Tom Steele's Bar
Ennis
12/05/2025: The guy with the white hair who claimed to be the owner had the worst attitude. When we asked to play pool he asked for ID and said he was busy with actual customers and that pubs are for drinking. When he asked us to hurry up with the IDs, we decided to leave as it wasn’t worth it. Worst service I’ve ever experienced, was also waiting 15 minutes before he came over to me. One of the rudest people you could interact with. Would not recommend 👎

The Skillet Pot
Ennis
22/03/2026: The short... we would eat here again. We had the roast of the day with mashed potatoes. Outstanding
The long..
We chose the Skillet Pot at Treacy's West County Hotel based on an AI recommendation while searching for a proper “Sunday pot roast” — something that felt traditional and true to Ireland. It came up as a top choice, and we decided to give it a shot.
The restaurant opens at 6pm, so we made a reservation right when they opened. We were seated immediately and had our pick of tables, settling into a comfortable spot for two.
The menu is well structured with starters, mains, and desserts, and there were some strong options (the sea bass stood out). That said, we came for the roast — and that’s what we ordered.
The beef roast with mashed potatoes absolutely delivered. It came out hot, tender, and beautifully plated. The potatoes were clearly real (not processed), the brown gravy was rich and flavorful, and the traditional pudding on top added a nice authentic touch. Everything was cooked and seasoned exactly right — honestly, this is exactly what I was hoping for when I think of a Sunday roast in Ennis.
Service was also excellent. Our server, Antonina, struck the perfect balance — attentive without being intrusive, never rushed us, and was always nearby when we needed something. Super wholesome and personable.
For dessert, I had the chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream. It was my first time trying it — enjoyable, though I don’t have much to compare it to. My wife went with the rhubarb apple crumble with vanilla ice cream, and she definitely feels like she made the better choice.
Overall, this was a great experience. If you’re looking for a proper, traditional Sunday-style meal in the Ennis area, this place is absolutely worth considering.

The Record Break
Ennis
20/01/2026: A great place, plenty of vinyl and great coffee
08/01/2026: Very cold cafe, women serving seemed quite confused when I asked for a coffee. The dog was the best part despite cold humour. I wanted to take him with me.
