The best restaurants in Ennis

03/05/2026: For a start my beans were burnt to shit. Service was poor with one of the employees saying obnoxiously loud “make sure these lads pay” referring to me and my friends. I watched a waiter man handling my black pudding with his rotten dirty hands. Food took over 40 minutes to come which in today’s society is just not acceptable. I would seriously consider going anywhere but here this should be a last resort option only thing saving it was the half Daycent sausage 😉

28/03/2026: Came here for brunch. Lovely menu. We had the pancakes. Good value for money and was so prompt - no waiting around for the food but also not being rushed out. Pleasant staff.

29/07/2026: All the takeaways in this town run and worked by non-nationals BUT Yvonnes is owned and run by local IRISH people and their burgers etc are lovely. Definitely the best place in Ennis for takeaway food

08/04/2026: I asked for fresh fish, and it very clearly wasn’t. There was the thinnest piece of fish and it was mostly batter the whole way through so in the end wss totally inedible to me. The chips were ok. Ordered some chicken goujons which were the only redeeming part. I started to read the reviews after I had ordered - so I regretted my decision fairy fast!

16/08/2026: Definitely the best Indian meal in Ennis, in addition, the service was wonderous. So cordial and welcoming. However, takeaway orders are hit and miss as they frequently get my order wrong. Overall a positive experience however, especially the dine in

27/05/2026: I ordered a burger and a kebab without spicy sauce for home delivery. Both the order and the receipt clearly stated “no spicy sauce,” but the kebab arrived with spicy sauce anyway. I went to REMIX PIZZA and returned it, but they neither gave me a new one nor refunded my money. I do not recommend this place.

07/04/2026: Frozen, rubbish chips. Chicken burger was also cooked from frozen. Cheap though but you get what you pay for!

16/08/2026: It's a nice and cozy place with a large window view on parking and lots of light. Staff is helpful. Coffee should be better.

28/07/2026: Tried giving Dominos the benefit of the doubt for far too long. Got a takeaway at the weekend and quality is just completely gone. The pizzas are dry and flavourless. There are much better places to order from.

12/06/2026: Item missing from order promised a refund for missing item. 2 to 3 days to be refunded 5 days later still no refund. This time tried customer service promised someone would be in touch within 5 days. A week later still no contact. Nearly 2 weeks and still no refund or contact from anyone. A true measure of a business is not when everything is right but when something goes wrong how it's dealt with. With Dominos it seems they will do absolutely nothing. I won't be going back again if this is how they treat customers.
