09/07/2024: Simple and good. Very friendly staff! Watched football on TV with great sound. We had two meals, the burger which was great and the steak sandwich which unfortunately was disappointing to me as the steak was not so good... as it is listed as one of the specialtys of the house that should've done better! But had an overall great evening.

Temple Gate Hotel

03/07/2025: The Temple Gate hotel was clean and conveniently located. Neal and other front desk staff were very helpful and truly knowledgeable of the hotel’s and the area’s rich history. The rooms were nice and very clean. My only critique is that there is no AC, which is not unusual in this area and the rooms had plug-in standing fans, which helped along with opening windows. I’m just spoiled by AC, so I’m a bit picky in this regard. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
06/06/2025: a bald inadequate German at the reception shouts all sorts of obscene language at the guests and points to the exit. I highly do not recommend this hotel, I WOULD PREFER TO STAY AT THE ASHFORD HOTEL

16/06/2025: As a tourist on her way to Cliffs of Moher, this place was really excellent! We wanted a quick on-the-go breakfast and coffee. They have pre-made ham and cheese paninis that they will toast for you. The coffee is excellent. I got the Americano with 2 sugar packets and milk, and it hit the spot. Highly recommend!

15/06/2025: A lovely restaurant but very quiet on the night we were there but they seemed none stop with takeaways which was a good sign and the food was fantastic except for the prawn crackers which really should be just called crackers as they tasted of nothing but apart from that the meals we had were spot on.I had Kung po chicken which was as good as anywhere else I've had it and the starter of salt and chilli spare ribs were probably the best I've ever had but I only got 3 ribs which I thought was a bit on the stingy side but they were great.we stayed at treacys west country hotel and the restaurant is only a 2 minute walk away which made it perfect aswell.I'd definitely go back there if ever I'm in Ennis again
24/03/2025: I got 3 days in Ennis and this restaurant made me fall in love. 3 days straight I can't go to other restaurants just because the Food super tasty, the service very nice and the price decent. Highly recommended restaurant in Ennis and thank you for your hospitality ❤️

06/07/2025: We were here for dinner as a group of 10 adults and 6 kids. From the moment we arrived the service and care provided for us was exceptional. The staff were excellent, the food was brilliant and the service was amazing.
Highly recommend.
24/06/2025: Went there with as a family of 3. Ordered Caesar salad, southern fried chicken burger and tagatielle with red sauce from the kid’s menu.
Caesar salad - bland chicken, not fresh vegetables not worth 10€
Fried chicken burger - tasted like frozen baked chicken in batter and microwave to thaw and fried in very hot oil. Chicken coating was very thick and the meat is over cooked and dry. Buns are fry. Everything is bland.
Tagatelle - overcooked AF. Even my toddler could tell how soggy it is.
Drinks:
Mai tai cocktail was really good but overpriced for its size

21/06/2025: Absolutely wonderful little bar. The bartender was a blast, if you have a good sense of humor!! If you go in there and spend the next day telling stories about her, you'll know which bartender I'm talking about!!! This bar should be an official tourist spot for Ennis!!

03/07/2025: On a late trip from Dublin to Liscannor was looking for food. This little gem of a restaurant was getting ready to close but kindly offered to stay open and serve our family. Food was really good, upscale pub fare. Clean, neat, restaurant with outdoor seating.
12/06/2025: I can’t say enough. It’s a wonderful place. Great food, great value, and great service.
The owner is very engaged, very personable, and just provides awesome service.
We ate here three times in 5 days. Snack, breakfast, and late dinner. With the number of great options in the area, that says a lot!!!

18/06/2025: Food is terrible chef does not know how to cook. Ordered three dishes all came with an inch of oil on the top of the sauces. The different parts of the sauce had separated which resulted in mouthfuls of straight oil. Do not eat here. Order from the one in town instead

Disappointed to say the least.
