The best restaurants in Ennis

09/06/2025: Taylors has injected so much energy into nightlife in Ennis since opening. Over the years they have expanded and improved the venue to make it top class!

30/05/2025: Taylor's is a great Pub and Beirgarten. Great atmosphere but can get very packed. They have the usual Irish draughts, and full liquor bar. The attraction is the Biergarten. Plenty of seating and friendly banter.

20/06/2025: Small, cozy place with large windows and seating for about 20 people. The homemade pastas and very tasty sauces. The service is friendly, with a slight Italian accent that reveals the quality of the pastas.

09/01/2025: I arrived in this place by chance. Curiosity made me enter, I had a lovely bruschetta and a wonderful carbonara. My congratulations

14/05/2025: Pancakes & chilli eggs are absolutely unreal. Won’t find a better breakfast in Ireland. Cleanest & nicest fry I’ve ever had. Frank is a perfectionist & drives high standards in everything he does in life. Best of local produce; Molloy's sausages, Meere's pudding, Kelly's rashers, free range eggs & Anam coffee. Everything Frank & Martin send out is top notch. Staff are absolutely lovely. Siobhán, Nancy, Pauline, Marianna, Jenny always so welcoming & friendly! They go above & beyond to make sure everyone has a lovely experience in S&G. Very lucky to have a place like this in Ennis. Well done to all the staff in Sweet & Green top class.

06/05/2025: We came here for brunch while travelling and were VERY happy! The staff and servers were very nice and attentive and we felt very welcome 🥰 We tried the Chilli Eggs, French Toast and the Pancakes and were really happy with each of them! Can only recommend to eat here if you’re ever in Ennis or near!

31/12/2024: Family owned and run public house. Excellent service and one of the best pints of Guinness in town. Traditional Irish music several nights a week.

26/06/2025: Ordered the chicken triple decker sandwich and it was rotten to put it mildly. I hate posting a negative like this on a place with mainly high reviews but I'm posting for feedback purposes. The place was very clean and the lady who served me was pleasant. I would've returned it but I was in a rush to get on the road again and honestly I feel like they wouldn't have had a problem with that so thats why it gets 3 stars. My gripe is the bread was barely toasted so it was soggy and while the chicken was nice it was hard taste anything else with the amount of white sauce it was smothered in (like coleslaw if that makes sense) & it wasn't made very well. I'd say something if it was in the evening but this was at 1:30 and the place was quiet. I'm sure most other items on their menu would be nice but if you can't do a sandwich right then I'm not so sure.

04/07/2025: Next to last evening in Ireland on our honeymoon. Tasted fantastic and rare Whiskeys you can't find in the states. Damian and Staff are top quality. Wonderful spot for a pint or a bite.

15/06/2025: A little spendy but worth it! Our waitress was freaking awesome. She was the only one there on a Thursday afternoon and the hostess had told us it'd be 20 minutes and our waitress (wish i got her name) insisted that she seat us right away and that she'd be with us in 5 minutes! She kept our drinks full, served our food and held down the rest of the restaurant too. Oh! And the food was good!!

10/06/2025: The fried artichoke appetizer and cheesy bread were absolutely delicious! The lobster dinner was very good, nice big lobster tail. The filet mignon was very thin and I didnt care for the salmon cakes. Dessert was wonderful!
