25/03/2024: We stayed at the Templegate hotel for my hen party. The food was absolutely amazing and we were so well looked after by the staff. Right in the town, we didn’t need to organise taxis or buses anywhere which was ideal for a large group. We were able to book one of the function rooms for the activity which was ideal. Thanks to all at the Templegate.

18/03/2024: Just dropped in on spec, looking for a snack, but tempted by the ambience, and a quick peek at what everyone was eating, into Lunch. Lovely menu, great service, and a pleasant mix of locals and tourists. Excellent food - the best Lemon Meringue Pie ever ! (once you're over 50, 'Best Evers' become rather less frequent !) Two older gentlemen were likewise having a leisurely lunch and were particularly well cared for by a rapidly moving Waitress, who missed nothing. On removing two empty plates which had previously held portions of (probably) The Most Amazing Apple Pie ever, she noted over her shoulder "I see ye didn't like that much either lads (wink) !" Scorts of laughter followed her out. Across the road from a very well appointed and well stocked Antiques Shop, this is a perfect stop off the beaten track if you're on a Clare/Limerick itinerary, with easy parking and what not.

15/02/2024: Can get very busy and a bit nosey for anyone with sensory issues but fab place and food such lovely staff.

23/12/2023: Best pub in town, not local but I come down a lot because fiancee is from Ennis, always end up in Lucas's, great craic and good people and service is A1 ✊🏻

29/02/2024: Place is nice and the food is good but the prices are astronomical. Went in for a very quick lunch with my wife and daughter and it cost us 62 euros.

16/02/2024: A little on the expensive side but they do a damn good burger, probably best burger in Ennis but its like €20

19/02/2024: Lovely atmosphere and nice menu but the man who seated us was unpleasant. We ordered drinks and food. 10 minutes for drinks to arrive. After 30 minutes when no food arrived but tables seated after us had been served we paid for our drinks and left. Same unpleasant man who seated us offered no explanation or apology. We would not return or recommend.

11/03/2024: An ideal place to have a good breakfast. Either hot dishes or pastries made on the spot, or a coffee or tea. It was a bit cold there.

08/02/2024: The acai bowl is delicious and so is the coffee. Definitely worth a visit. The staff are also lovely and very helpful. It would be good if they could get a highchair for the little one. Overall, great place 👍

03/04/2024: The food and coffee are so good. A little bit pricy. The place is very clean but the tables are so close to each other so a bit crowded. The takeaway food and cakes are great.

03/03/2024: A must visit when you're a tourist, the music was amazing , and we were there on a quiet night , try a Guinness with blackcurrant just lovely, I think there was more musicians than customers or could be all the customers are good musicians 😆

15/02/2024: Have attended a few times now & have to say consistently the best massage I’ve ever had. Professional,clean,relaxing & therapeutic. Highly recommend.
