27/09/2024: Had dinner in Lana this evening with my daughter and it was awful!! The rice was reheated so totally disgusting and the sweet and sour chicken tasted terrible. I couldn't eat it as it was that bad! Didn't say anything at the time as your staff were lovely and didn't want to be complaining to them as not their fault.

26/08/2024: Disappointed with my takeaway. The chicken in the dish tasted like it had been reheated so had a funny taste. I’ve had a takeaway from here before and it was good. So very disappointed

02/06/2024: Although they have the business still open on google, they've closed down! We took a detour to get food here, but all was not lost, we found a place called Brogans in the end and had the most amazing food!

05/08/2024: Waiter refused to give us the drinks menu and chose for us, without letting us know the prices. He almost took our plates before we were done eating, even though we ate quickly and the place was not crowded. Food was OK, nothing less but nothing more.

21/09/2024: Yum for the mun! Value is good, best in the area if so ask me. Staff are pleasant and a minor picky order for them is handled like pros. Food reminds me of a Country Kitchen vibe. Because of all the above, I would recommend and will be back.

07/10/2024: I recently returned from a lovely 3 night break( Sunday to Wednesday) in Queens Hotel in Ennis. I am a single elderly traveller n stayed on a room only basis, as I was visiting family n was very pleased with what I paid for my accommodation. My room( 112) was spacious with a Kingsize Bed and ample storage space. It also had coffee n tea making facilities. My bathroom was perfect with a top class walk in shower unit, and all the units were spotless and looked spanking new. The room was serviced regularly by very pleasant household staff. I had lunch in the dining room and it was lovely and served again by very friendly and attentive staff. I also had delicious homemade buttermilk pancakes served with winter berries n cream n a large pot of coffee for late breakfast and would highly recommend. There is a coffee shop with delicious cakes on the ground floor of the Hotel where I purchased some cakes to bring back to Dublin with me. I am a regular visitor to Ennis, and the hotel is centrally based in the town, which also has a decent cinema. I will definitely be staying in Queens on my next visit and will recommend highly to others. Keep up the good work!!🙋‍♀️ Anne R……Dublin 13.

24/10/2024: Don't know if it's owned by the same family now but they used to have another place up in Lahinch twenty years ago. I worked there a few summers when I was a teenager. Loved working there, everyone did. Enzo was the nicest boss I ever had and a brilliant sense of humour!! Great banter in there with all the staff and the older ones would look after the younger ones. Always got my dinners there whatever I wanted. Great great memories!

01/07/2024: Food here was a disgrace. I ordered two fresh cod and chips. The chips are not fresh. Came out of a frozen packet. The same with the cod. This was frozen also. I gave the benefit of the doubt but when I got home, the chips and fish were soaked in oil and left a thick coating on the plate. The fish was so thin and miserable it wasn't palatable. I tried a bit but got a weird taste (probably from all the oil). I think this is the worst take away I've ever gotten. The whole lot went straight in the bin. So disappointed and would not recommend this "chipper" to anyone now.

17/07/2024: Must say new chef isn’t as good as the old one, as all the flavorings are very much different too the old ones and it as if they are trying too match the old recipes but yet failed the food was great when they had the old owners not anymore

28/06/2024: i got a Munchy box as i usually do, i’ve always loved the munchy boxes and got them loads but recently they have down graded , the spice is difference , the cheese rolls are different and so is the sweet and sour and curry sauce. The old ones were more appetising too eat unlike the new ones , they now aren’t just as nice with odd flavouring . Many people i know have given out and complained about the new tastes. Chinatown is usually very good so idk what’s happening with the new bad flavouring , ye should have just kept it all the same .

19/09/2024: Great Irish owned and staffed chipper. Lovely food and pleasant staff. Very clean. Nice little table to sit and enjoy. I got the 1/4 pounder meal deal for €10. Fast service and tasty food. The burger and chips were both excellent. Staff looked very professional in their kitchen chef uniforms. The cook had her hair covered. The kitchen is visible and very clean. I wish the country had more chippys like this. Great value too. The best sign, they are very busy. Support Irish business.

01/07/2024: I couldn't get over this place after the first time I went there, Great pizza shop with amazing food, the pizzas are always cooked to perfection! Although I would like my fries to have a tiny bit more salt besides that they are wonderful. The Apache employees are super nice and you don't feel like you are in a rush when ordering, working at a perfect pace so as not to undercook your food and to serve it to you without a long wait, amazing. Delivery comes in an appropriate amount of time and the food is just as amazing as having it served in Apache itself. Warm and tasty.It's been my No.1 ever since my first visit.
