15/06/2025: 'Walking into this Bar is an experience worth doing...as you enter the door it was buzzing, immediately you get a sense of energy and fun. On a Saturday evening we enjoyed singers in the front bar, as you wind your way through the different areas you experience exciting atmospheres. We got a table further back in the extended area out the back but still the atmosphere was brilliant. We ate here also and everyone was delighted with their choices. We would definitely recommend The Blackbird Bar so much that we returned every night of stay in Ballycotton.....Enjoy'

24/05/2025: I had fish of the day, daughter had scampi - very busy on a Friday night but we had a pint while we waited - met 2 families and had great visits
14/05/2025: Fab place, and service. Popped in on the off chance they had a table and served food last week. Great service from the lovely staff, and the food was divine. Gorgeous fresh fish. We had the Fish goujans and Hake. And to our surprise the prices were so reasonable. We'll be back for sure, as the menu had a great selection. 😊

Scallops , Fresh Fish and Chips and Roulade for sweet.
Service and food very good , we had early table they rang us to advise they had had a cancellation so we could eat later which was more convenient for us nice location would recommend.
03/06/2025: Had lunch at the salty dog and was the best sea food chowder I’ve ever had. Chunky pieces of fish and plenty of them with mussels and prawns and a soup with a real kick for intense flavour. Service was great so don’t pass it by if you’re around the east cork area

Staying at the Bayview Hotel is a memorable experience in every sense. The location is simply privileged, with a spectacular view of the sea that transforms every sunrise and sunset into a true spectacle of nature. It is impossible not to be enchanted by the scenery.
