10/11/2024: I’m a local and even though I haven’t been here in some time I’ve always thought it was good value and good food but today I was very disappointed. I ordered a Chicken Vol au Vent, it came with only one small pastry and a small basket of chips. Very small pieces of chicken and a bland sauce. This cost €19.50 and was definitely not worth it. They have a Vol au Vent starter that in reality can’t be much smaller so I paid an extra €10 for the chips that came with the main. €1 for a Mi-Wadi is also ridiculous. The waiter claimed a bottle of MiWadi costs €4 and only makes 4 pints! I’d love to see him drink a 1/4 bottle of MiWadi in a glass of water! Deserts were all €9 and €10, far too expensive for the quality.

23/10/2024: Lovely cafe was passing through the town and decided to stop. Food was perfect and there was loads of locals around. Loved that the waitress sat with 2 older women for a few minutes for a chat while she took their order. Really lovely atmosphere and food was really nice.
20/10/2024: Lovely cafe in the heart of fermoy. The chowder is delicious 😋. Staff are bright and helpful.

18/08/2024: Amazing amazing! I was just visiting Cork for a wedding last week and came across spontaneously with this nice bar. Super nice variety of beer selection and kind service. The Guinness was great, but Murphy's much much better. Greetings to Eamon 🌹

29/08/2024: Went there for a quick breakfast on the way to Cork. Njce place with home made jams and baking goods. Scones are soft and fresh, sausage roll is very nice served with home made tomato confit. Recommend!
