30/06/2025: Stayed here 2 nights with my partner for my birthday. The staff were absolutely brilliant, always friendly. Breakfast was stunning & my partner enjoyed her wagyu steak. The leisure facilities are spot on, the rooms are brilliant.
Will most certainly look to revisit.

29/09/2025: Had chips here last night. Food was ok. Chips were really tasteless. Service was extremely slow know they were busy but even taking that into account. Staff very friendly. Partner got onion rings which were way overcooked only the skin of the onion under the batter no actual onion. Fish portion was small. Food was average. Be slow to return

31/08/2025: I love this coffee shop.The staff are always friendly and the cakes are beautiful.The cake portions are a really good size,great value for money.I think their system is very efficient,go in ,order and pay,then wait out at the window for your coffees,even if the weather is bad,the area where you wait is covered.

04/03/2025: Very small portions for high prices. Shrinkflation siuation here. Not happy. They use small plates to lesson quantity. Unfair.
22/01/2025: Had lunch here today. Average lunch price is €17. The fish pie was basically a tiny piece of cod in a dish covered with breadcrumbs and was tasteless. My companion had the beef. The veg and potatoes are put on the plate very sparingly, portions very small. Lunch here is not worth the money.

29/06/2025: Stopped by Macroom on our way to Galway, and came across the Next Door Cafe on the main street. It is a great spot for a casual lunch. Food was fresh and well made, and the setting is comfortable and attractive.
