The best restaurants in Buncrana

11/08/2025: Without doubt one of the nicest restaurants in donegal, it was our first time here and wasn't it a surprise, the service was first class from the meet and great at the door until we left. The restaurant was packed but our food came out so fast we were shocked because we knew it was busy and expected a delay. The food was as good of food that I've ate in donegal ,credit to the chefs, highly recommended coming here and well done for your good work 👏

11/08/2025: Outstanding experience. Very friendly staff serve incredible food in a beautiful space. Every bite was delicious. The seafood chowder is out of this world — chock full of mussels, prawns, fish, and a ton of flavor. Highly recommend!

23/08/2025: This place came up when I searched for nearby places and I immediately liked the photos and it didnt dissapoint, quiet little spot that did nice coffee and a nice slice of cake. Will be going back tomorrow morning for some breakie. Edit: went back for breakfast and was lovely

19/07/2025: We ordered sandwiches for a wedding after party held in town. We thought we left it too late but the staff at the Fisherman's Warf were fantastic and advised on how much we needed for 30 guests. They delivered all the food on time and the sandwiches were delicious! Thank you!

15/08/2025: Had my wedding here on the 23rd of August 2024. It was a very small event with less than 7 people. We didn't make a big deal of it, however, the hotel and manager did, they set up the room and the front of the hotel like it was big wedding event and we where so happy with how they treated us. They really made everything so good and special for us on that day. We will never forget. We visit the hotel every year now when we visit our house In dunree. It's a special place for us.

30/07/2025: Cozy pub with a log fire. We just had a drink and enjoyed the live performance. Good beer selection and friendly service.

15/07/2025: The hotel is nicely situated by the water, although it is not easy to get to the beach, there is no exit from the hotel, there is only an entrance from the back.

17/06/2025: Sorry to harbour inn we were really looking forward to our meal this evening. Our main order either got messed up or not put into the computer right. We waited at least 30 minutes from starter to main. No apology from staff. They came to double check our order after 20 minutes or so from when we got starters. The plates were not hot. The cod was middling temperature and the "roast potatoes" were clearly boiled and sitting around in some heating pot but they were not roasted. It was a pity because it was good quality fish. The salmon dish was fine. Overall disappointed in lack of apology and acknowledgement of the long wait time. Thanks Amy

21/08/2025: We were here and had the chicken bacon and leek, which tasted okay, with a side of vegetables that were completely unseasoned. The Cajun chicken was also unseasoned, and the garlic potatoes were garlic-free 😢. Coleslaw wasn't good either, and was full of mayo 😢. Either someone is trying to relive the past, or the real chef was on vacation 🤷🏻‍♂️.

10/05/2025: Had a beer here outside and it was dog friendly.

09/06/2025: Great bar for live sports with all their screens. Great for live music at the weekends. One of the best pints of Guinness was had here. Staff are very accommodating.

29/08/2025: If I could only package up BRAW and send it wholesale to be near me in London then I would (Buncrana, you find no gentleman in me)! It’s such a brilliant outfit: quality product, fair pricing, exceptional customer service and amazing coffee at the heart of it all. BRAW could certainly teach London coffee retailers a thing or two about how to look after people. I was back from London for a few days and visited every day. They remembered my order, took time to chat to me, and even provided me with an umbrella, a flattened box and a towel so that I might sit happily in the rain with my breakfast. The last time I sat on a towel in Buncrana was in Sr. Peter’s class in the ‘Baby School’ 1972 when I would do so on a regular basis because I was unable to reach the high door handle and would soil myself as I was too shy to ask permission to go to the outside toilets. No such problem at BRAW, I hasten to add - and that towel can be used again! Well done to all the team. I definitely will be back.

21/04/2025: It's one of the best bars around. Great atmosphere and the service is excellent. It's worth a visit. Amazing Guinness, too. All round great pub.
