30/07/2026: We visited Goodies on our family holiday to bundoran and honestly couldn’t speak higher of it! The food was delicious, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the prices are brilliant for the feed you get! We visited this cafe nearly every day on our holiday. The raspberry smoothies are top class and all the food is as amazing. We will definitely be back!

17/03/2026: My experience wasn’t good the room looked ok but the smell was horrendous like a wet mop that hasn’t been cleaned for a long time couldn’t sleep with the smell I was booked for 3 nights but I only stayed 2 the breakfast was ok bit small the bathroom was awful both taps running hot water no cold water couldn’t brush my till I had to buy bottled water terrible experience I would never recommend this place to anyone won’t be back

It was so cold outside I couldn't believe the beautiful fire we met as soon as we walked in 👍 Food , staff and atmosphere was only fantastic Couldn't believe the menu & PRICE !!! Brendan and your staff are unreal Thank you all so much 🤞I will be BACK !!!

06/07/2026: We have been regular customers here for years, so this was an incredibly disappointing experience. On Saturday night, my partner ordered a Chinese takeaway and was told there would be a 40-minute wait. That was absolutely fine with us. We went into The Phoenix for a couple of drinks while we waited. After around 45 minutes, I went in to collect the order, only to be told it hadn't even been started. I asked why we had been told 40 minutes if the order wasn't even on yet. Instead of an apology or even an explanation, I was immediately met with aggression. The lady serving repeatedly told me I was being rude. I asked her what I had actually said that was rude, but she couldn't answer. She just kept repeating that I was being rude, told me to "look how busy we are," and then said, "Cancel it if you want." So I did. The delay wasn't the issue. We completely understand that places get busy. A simple "I'm sorry, we're running behind" would have been enough. What wasn't acceptable was being made to feel like I had done something wrong simply for asking a reasonable question. This seems to be happening far too often nowadays, where customers are made to feel like they're the problem for raising a concern. That's not good customer service—it's dismissive and, in my opinion, a form of gaslighting. Rather than acknowledging the situation, I was made to question my own behaviour when all I had done was ask why our order wasn't ready. When my partner later spoke to Kim to explain what had happened, he was told that I was "consumed." That was equally disappointing. Instead of listening to a loyal customer, the situation was brushed aside. After years of supporting this business, we won't be back. Delays happen—we all understand that. But there is never an excuse for treating customers with hostility and then making them feel they're at fault for asking a simple, reasonable question. Bring Back Tracey!!

25/06/2026: Locked us out when there was still 30 mins to closing. Even though we have ordered way before that. Waited 15 mins for food and still couldnt wat inside.

25/07/2026: Got a beautiful meal out of here on Tuesday night. The spicebag was to die for and the sweet and sour chicken was gorgeous. It also didn't take a long time which is a bonus.

03/05/2026: Complete kip. Wouldnt go back if you paid me. It’s may and they still have Christmas decorations up. Place is filthy. There are kids toys woth children playing and a dog running around. There is a trampoline outside. 6 of us were sick the next day. Absolutely muck food, cleanliness and service.

12/04/2026: Disgusting. Chicken kebab on bread, bread was soaked with brown juice. Chicken dry, hard and overcooked. Worst kebab ever.

22/06/2026: Stayed here for 2 nights, breakfast is excellant to start the day, views over Bundoran bay, also looking across to the Dartry mountains, there is a golf course beside the hotel, 3 course evening meal excellant, plenty of free parking.

07/06/2026: Booked a two night stay with golf on the Saturday, I arrived at the hotel around 3pm on the Friday to be told that my room wasn't ready. Early that evening I decided to take advantage of the swimming facilities which I was informed they closed at 8pm when I asked at reception, the steam room was out of order was out of service. I finished my swim just before 8pm. I then went to the bar to order an evening meal at 8.20pm only to be informed the kitchen closed at 8pm. I asked what about the restaurant again this wasn't even opened. The bar staff directed me to a vending machine where you could purchase crisps etc!!! I actually had to leave the hotel that evening and go into town to find a restaurant to have an evening meal. I complained to the receptionist on my return about the lack of information of the eating times on my arrival and the inconvenience that I couldn't order food in a 4 star hotel on a Friday evening at 8.20pm. The next morning I went for breakfast which was self service, the waiting staff took my hotel room number and that was the only interaction they had with myself, no one came to my table to offer tea/ coffee or to ask if everything is ok with the service. I checked out the hotel a day earlier than I paid disgusted with the lack of customer service at a 4star hotel!!! Very disappointed guest!! Further note the general manager never contacted me regarding the complaint I left at the reception desk on the Friday evening.

11/07/2026: Absolute worst place Ive ever been too, completely ignored by the staff. Came in with my partner and two children after a great day at the beach and carnival and this placed Ruined our whole experience, they were too busy talking bad about customers to orher customer than to serve or in any way be friendly to my family whom just wanted to eat after a long day. Sat around for an hour. Never again and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who value their time.

29/06/2026: I went there with some friends and it was super loud. The lights were overstimulating with the flashing and the music was so loud you couldn't hear what they were singing. It was crowded and I only stayed for a few minutes.

23/07/2026: I had a pizza here today, and it was so good! I absolutely loved it. The food came very quickly—just 10 minutes—which was impressive. The place was very clean, and I really liked the atmosphere. There was a screen playing funny videos, which my family and I really enjoyed while we waited. The pizza was delicious, the service was fast, and everything was a great experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back the next time I’m in Bundoran!

25/06/2026: We used the spa as a couple and the treatment was fantastic. So peaceful and excellent staff that made us feel very welcomed and we will return.

14/06/2026: Absolutely terrible service and even worse food. Starters came out freezing cold. Carvery tasted cheap and not well cooked. Never will return.

28/04/2026: The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and the staff's genuine warmth and friendliness especially Aaron made the experience truly memorable for me and my friends definitely will be our number 1 pub to visit every time that we will be back in Bundoran💚🤍🧡

21/03/2026: The pub it self had a great atmosphere and decent music however staff were unkind. On multiple occasions throughout the night I watched staff physically hurt customers. I had an extremely unpleasant experience with one member of staff who was bald and had a tattoo on his face. There was a young girl feeling ill in the bathroom and she had asked me to go and get her a drink of water which I did. When I walked into the LADIES bathroom the worker followed me in and grabbed the back of my neck before forcibly pulling me out of the bar. The worker shouted out to me “you heard me the first time you aren’t allowed drinks in the bathroom” however I had been unaware of the policy’s existence and therefore I tried to explain to him what had happened. The staff member did not care and proceeded to kick me out of the bar where he pushed me hard on my back to the point I have bruising. As he pushed me out the door he threw the cup of water out behind me and shouted “there’s your drink” . This was on st. Patrick’s day just yesterday and it’s safe to say that the staff were stressed but there is absolutely no call for the physical abuse I received and the abuse given to others which was far worse. I believe a local man called the police who came down and sent the bouncer home and the bar closed after this . Male staff were extremely rude and angry to us throughout the night and were dragging anyone who didn’t have a drink in their hand out. Absolutely will not be back and will be advising others to avoid.
