24/11/2024: Lovely atmosphere in a great setting. They have excellent treats and desserts so I would recommend this place for that. The food was only fair on this visit for us but may return to try some alternative options on the menu as other food options I could see looked good. I tried one of the specials for the day - which was the chicken goujon wrap. It was very basic - chicken, mayo, lettuce. For the price, I would have just expected it to have a bit more going on. Some sauce, relish, tomatoes or house slaw etc.

28/09/2024: Once we got given a table the waitresses were refusing to serve my husband and I. we waited for at least 17minutes and other people coming in way after us were getting served first. Very rude and unprofessional
14/09/2024: Nice little brunch place with all day breakfast. Very reasonable prices and a menu with something for everyone. Lovely brown bread. Only minor issue was that poached eggs were over cooked.

24/10/2024: WHOLESOME! This place is the warmest most unique vibe I have ever had the pleasure to experience, it feels local, it is tiny but you hear different accents everytime you go in. This place is up there with the castle and heritage centre for best experience in Athenry. Warm friendly staff and patrons alike and the crepes are second to none and I used to work in Paris, I know a good crepe. Furthermore the ingredients are locally sourced and organic where possible, so if I had only one word to describe this gem I would say Wholesome

07/10/2024: A horrible experience, thunderous noises from the gym that bounce throughout the hotel at 7:00 in the morning, if you come to rest, I do not recommend it at all, very unpleasant

The Central Bar Athenry

03/08/2024: We were there for 3 days and it was super fun in The Central Bar, highly recommended to have a beer there in the evening with the local people. We spent the night around the corner at The Old Barracks hotel, which is highly recommended and the breakfast is delicious.

03/09/2024: Truly excellent and very abundant dishes, possibility to choose what they will be accompanied with (boiled or fried rice), something that doesn't exist in Italy.
We had a really good time, the place was clean and well kept.
The fast service (we had everything in half an hour) and the kind and friendly waiters.
Also very convenient is the fact that it closes late, on a Saturday evening where all the kitchens of the other restaurants closed at 7.30pm, it was our salvation.
If I lived in Athenry it would be one of my favorite restaurants.
