The best restaurants in Baile chláir

02/12/2025: Currently staying in hotel with our young family(6yr old and baby) we specifically booked dinner for a time where we would avail of the early bird menu, we were waiting at least 10 minutes for the waitress to come back to us to take our order, we were then informed in not a nice manner from waitress that the early bird finished approx 10/15 minutes previous. The waitress in particular was not friendly and quite rude to us. This is unfortunate to us as we are regulars to the hotel and has put a bit of a damper on our stay here currently.

24/11/2025: Stopped in for breakfast and it was absolutely excellent. The food was fresh, well-presented, and really good quality, easily one of the better breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The dining area was comfortable and welcoming, and everything came out quickly. A special shout-out to Radi, who was genuinely exceptional. Her service was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She made the whole experience stand out. Highly recommend dropping in here for breakfast and say hi to Radi!

17/09/2025: The location was amazing! Right in the middle of Oia which is perfect. The service was amazing. Kostas ( the owner) went above and beyond. He helped us with what to do, he booked us reservations, cab services and much more. He was there whenever you needed him. The rooms were good too!

09/11/2025: Stopped here on way to Tuam for sunday lunch..Menu was lovely,great variety and specials on too,although my favourite oxtail was sold out. Very good size portions,great flavours..Will be back

07/10/2025: Paid €6.60 for a coffee here today. Iced coffee is an extra euro compared to its hot counterpart whilst non dairy milk and a flavour shot added the extra almost 2 euro. Given non dairy milk is the same price in a supermarket to dairy it beggar's belief why the cafe finds it appropriate to add such a markup. The flavour shot is also extortionate given the wholesale cost of a bottle of the stuff. These add ons are cheap shots by the cafe to rob customers and I for one will not be returning here.

23/11/2025: I walked in to check out the place. 3 staff there, one sitting on floor stool, two other standing, all looked peed off. Weren't helpful to my question about what they selling. Great way to greet potential customers. Left.

11/10/2025: Best fish in chips in galway and ive tried them all by far ahead little gem not too far outside galway nice friendly staff.

06/07/2025: Exceptional service and food. The kids were delighted. kids fish fingers were freshly made fish goujons. kids pasta came with proper pasta sauce and parmesan. our server who may have been German was even dancing the kids, great craic. The pork belly and salmon mains were exceptional too and all the bar staff extremely helpful and friendly. my wife has some allergies and they went the extra mile to make it really easy

06/06/2025: Pretty standard fare, nothing great, nothing awful. Their online advertising suggests modern and contemporary food, but really this is a basic set of pizzas and a few more meals, so nothing that ambitious. Pizzas were ok (again nothing flash) as was dessert, and one of our water glasses was very unclean. Settling up at the end took forever, as our server (who had been great until then) didn’t mention paying up at the entrance instead of at the table - we waited 15+ minutes after he brought the bill before we got up and did this ourselves.

05/10/2025: The food & service is always 100% & the staff are lovely

31/07/2025: Good Madras with breast of chicken and king prawns. Breads were oven fresh and way better than rice for soaking up all that sauce.
