11/11/2024: A wonderful environment and perfect attention.
The perfect hotel to get to know the entire area near Ballinasloe: both Clonmacnoise, Athlone and Galway.
Wonderful and extremely hospitable care.
The only drawback would be that it is clearly advisable to go with a private vehicle: it is necessary if you are visiting to see the entire region; Although if it is simply for a few days of rest in the hotel, it is not so necessary either.
11/11/2024: A group of us visited The Moycarn Lodge at the weekend. We were there for one night and had dinner and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooms were spacious, warm and comfy. We had a lovely view of the river from our bedroom. The bar and restaurant are ambient and cosy. They had a decent cocktail list. The food was delicious, portions were huge! Everyone was really happy overall. I'd recommend this venue for a special occasion or a party with friends and family. Located just a few minutes off the motorway, super easy to find. A hidden gem!

25/11/2024: As a weekly resident in Ballinasloe, I have had takeaways from every fast food outlet in the town. Nothing different from the usual, until I decided to get our takeaway on the way into town. We got a kebab and a chicken breast with chips. The chips were big chunks of fresh potato, perfectly cooked. The chicken breast was huge (are they breeding superchickens in Creagh?). My partner's kebab, wrapped in tinfoil, was also large and very tasty. This takeaway shop is, far and away, the best in the town, and probably the county. Never again will I settle for average when, 1 Km away, is the best Ive ever tasted.

I went to order a takeaway last night and was told they weren't doing takeaways because restaurant was too busy. That was a JOKE and really needs to be reviewed or business will be lost by loyal customers..

27/11/2024: We had a meal for a large family group, and everything was delicious, the service was good, and everyone was very happy with their meal. The desert medley was gorgeous.
Parking was so handy, location was great for walking to shops and things in town, the beds were comfy, and the showers lovely with nice hot water.
We stayed for two nights, and the only thing I would say that could be improved is the charging options in the room were not the best. The electrical outlets were often behind pieces of furniture that had to be moved to gain access.

07/12/2024: Great spot for breakfast! Thoroughly enjoyed their vegetarian breakfast, something that can be tricky to do well. Lots of choice on the menu featuring various Irish suppliers. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring you are looked after. The coffee is excellent. They also have a delightful selection of homemade pastries annd sweet treats, along with a delicious breakfast and lunch menu. The personal touches, like local art on the walls and artisan treat items, really set this spot apart from any chain cafés. It's a little gem worth supporting, whether you're stopping by for a quick cup or relaxing for a while!

24/11/2024: Would rate 0 stars if possible, my cocktail came with a dead fly as garnish, when I asked for it to be remade I got the same cocktail with the dead fly only partially removed, the manager Aisling Hall, delivered the 3rd attempt at a cocktail within 60 seconds of the 2nd one going back and when confronted about the quick turnaround stated “this is the 3rd free cocktail you are after getting” and at no stage was there any apology for the initial fly in the drink or any acknowledgment of the fact that she didn’t remake the initial drink.
Would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the taste of dead fly and terrible customer service.

11/11/2024: The live music was incredibly good: I've paid for worse concerts and this one was free and with great musicians and singers. The waiter's attention was perfect.
I didn't eat there, just a beer and a couple of soft drinks... But everything looked good, apparently you should eat well.

04/07/2024: I have tried many pizza places in the area but none compare to the quality and taste of Aoache Pizza. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The( SHAWARMA )were also delicious. Highly recommend.
The Staff are very welcoming and so nice. They have delivery and online orders. My kids keep asking for other pizza orders.
