The best restaurants in Gort

31/01/2025: Just saw a video on tiktok of a young guy trying to bring a bit of music to the area outside this SuperValu, when what looks like the manager came up trying to hunt him away saying it’s not allowed. When I’m fact this young man was on public property. This manager or whoever he is in SuperValu needs a little call from his superior and head offic and.maybe stop being such a stuck up arrogant person.

19/09/2024: Josey and Karen were amazing! What a great local Irish Pub experience! We couldn't have asked for better. Charming. Funny. Great stories! If you are looking for a great local experience then this is it. And a Pittsburgh Steelers pub to Boot (go Pats!). Next time we are in Ireland we will visit again. In the meantime, go to Harte's and keep our seats warm for us.

20/08/2024: Great local pub situated in the heart of Gort. Friendly Bar man, You couldn't miss the big sign on the wall 'CASH ONLY, NO CARDS'. The locals are not afraid to have a chat with you, without being overly curious and presuming you're some long lost yank looking to trace your roots! The pub was unmodernised, which I found refreshing especially in this day and age where everything is WIFI and TAP and people have forgotten the art of conversation, not a smart phone in sight, just gentle harmless banter and the added bonus that €5 CASH will get you one of the nicest pints of Guinness ever

20/12/2024: What a nice guy the manager of this place is, he cares about the food he serves the people and he also cares about the people he serves the food to. Gentleman ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

18/12/2024: I have eaten their pizza and burger both were so fresh. I would recommend this store to everyone if you are in Gort and want to have fresh and yummiest food. 10/10

30/01/2025: Fair play to the staff in Lady Gregory hotel, helping out people who have no power and no water, My sons were delighted to get a shower. The staff were lovely and very kind and helpful. Well done Lady Gregory Hotel. Highly recommend.

29/01/2025: This will be a very difficult review done in extremely difficult circumstances as in the worst storm in Irish history. With no electricity or heating we contacted the hotel and explained we are 3 adults one with serious disability. They immediately offered us a room for a nominal fee. We have been here 4 days and we are blown away with the hospitality friendship and help offered to us. They have opened thier doors to the entire community for showering phone charging catering but most importantly a safe warm spot. There are two many names to mention so we offer our sincere thanks to the O Grady Family and the entire team. We have all heard of businesses price gouging in this disaster but this family is a credit to themselves. Please support this business going forward. Just to finish it's a beautiful old worldly elegant building with a fantastic leisure centre. God bless you all

09/07/2024: The food was okay, small portions, fine for me but not for someone who eats normally. It wasn't bad and the wait wasn't too long. Would recommend ordering before or expecting 20-25minutes wait at least.

09/12/2024: Sullivan always has good service, and it was no different this weekend. Mairéad couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating.

03/12/2024: A restaurant that demonstrates the value of a warm welcome and genuine, kind customer service. Visited to have a break during a difficult and tense few hours, and felt much better for it. You feel really valued, like the staff care about the welcome they give and the service you receive. We had breakfast, which was lovely. A truly comforting place for a meal.
