07/11/2024: We went here to celebrate our daughter's birthday. She loves Indian food and Delhi Rasoi Indian serves only the best Indian food! We shared the mixed starter platter - for four it was perfect, onion bhaji, shish kebab, aloo tikki, chicken tikka along with mint and mango dips. The main courses were soo good. I had butter chicken with garlic naan, like heaven on your tongue. They gave my daughter a treat because of her birthday (we only told them when we were at the table). Honestly it was gorgeous food with great service! We will be back! ❤️❤️❤️
27/10/2024: I recently ordered Lamb Nihari from this restaurant, and while the food itself was problematic—the lamb was undercooked—that became a secondary issue due to the staff’s behavior. When we mentioned the problem, Govind, the staff member attending to us, was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, he argued with us repeatedly, making our experience unpleasant and uncomfortable. For a business in the hospitality industry, having staff behave this way is shocking. Customer service should be a priority, yet here, courtesy seemed nonexistent. We left disappointed and won’t be returning. Won't recommend anyone who is expecting to be well treated!

01/10/2024: Had to try the cafe out since they reopened under new management.
Food was delicious! The big breakfast is so generous, including tea/coffee and toast. Best value I've seen anywhere and no scrimping on quality either... top ingredients, cooked well.
Scones are so fresh, definitely from scratch and the barista coffee was excellent.
Will definitely be back for lunch soon. Wishing the new owners all the best.
21/09/2024: Lovely freshly cooked breakfast and really good coffee. The cafe was busy ,so staff were under pressure but were very polite.

27/06/2024: One of my favorite restaurants. The food is excellent, wonderfully subtle flavours and spices; the staff are gentle and attentive; the restaurant is set out in such a way that you can have a good conversation (without shouting yourself hoarse, as in other venues not far away!).

12/07/2024: I ordered a Chicken tikka masala and GOC naan. But the taste and looks were just like a Butter chicken. And not spicy at all. Even they did not give any options for spice level. And the Naan is very thick and not cooked well. So I had to throw half of the portion. I am totally disappointed so thats why i am writing a review after very long time.
Even Chutni is not providing any complimentary Chutni with the food as compared to the city Indian restaurants like Diwali or Pickle. These restro giving 2 kind of chutnies and even if your order cross €20 you will get a free drink. However if you compare with prices as well, this place is more costlier.
The vegetarian options are good though.

26/11/2024: We used to order from here at least once a week. We love Indian food. We have really given them a chance and after the first let down we ordered 2 more times in case it was just a bad day for the cook.
The curries (gravy) are really lacking now. I can't put my finger on it but they do not taste like they used to. Something is off with the lack of depth of flavour.
Everything else is really good. Best pilau rice (proper with cloves & cardamom), best tandoori chicken wings (great flavour). The chicken in the makhanwala is always cooked really well with a char on it.
Tadka what has happened??
Is it new owners or a new cook??
25/11/2024: Look no further. Amazing food and service. Again my most favourite take away as it is always consistent and they obviously use the best of ingredients. Thank you again and I will be continuing to tell all of my friends and family.

20/10/2024: Not the worst thing ive ever eaten. We ordered chicken madras and lamb madras. Very bland no real taste or spice which you would usually associate with the dish. I’d give it 2.5. There are better Indian takeaways in D15. I’ll revert back to them.

I think they have received some unfair reviews criticising one off poor delivery times etc from people who would be very upset if Okra Green was no longer there in Castleknock

The restaurant looks great but was very disappointed to get home and find that both dishes I got were swimming in Oil !
