Delhi Darbar

12/10/2025: States on the website its open till 11 on a Saturday night , called in to get a table around 9.45 and was told no , we are closed, we are finished .
Irritating when website says it open until 11 and it's not , maybe staff don't fancy staying open that late
11/10/2025: Our go to restaurant for take aways. Always have loved the food here. Kids love prawn vartha curry. My personal favourite is chicken chilli fry. Friendly staff. I would love to have a dinner with family here.

Maharajah Fine Indian Cuisine
Dublin
26/09/2025: Very small portions especially the kids meals
20/09/2025: Food is excellent. Very tasty and great value. I've been searching for a good Indian in the Dublin 1, Dublin 3 area as I've moved into the area recently and this is the best I've found. Chicken Tikka Masala is great, the chicken always very tender. Highly recommend

Spice Cottage
Dublin
03/11/2025: They never disappoint!
Highly recommend this place for authentic flavours.
26/10/2025: Very disappointing...
A mixed kebab with just stripes of nothing meat and no chicken whatsoever...
This place used to blow my mind with the quality but alas no more...
So sad.

Vermilion
Dublin
03/11/2025: Very fine and tasty Indian food.
11/10/2025: The food was disappointing — everything tasted bland and overcooked. The service was slow, even though the place wasn’t busy. Definitely not worth the price.

Okra Green
Dublin
25/07/2025: Sag aloo is amazing. Peshwari naan is great but much sweeter than it usually is, so depends on your preference. Dal tarka is a bit spicy for me but the flavour is really nice.

Spice Hut
Dublin
19/10/2025: Needed “good for the soul” food as I’m currently under the weather. This place was always highly rated locally by word of mouth and I saw that mains were prepared to order - perfect! The service is great, came in for a takeaway and was told a 20 min wait, I was out with my food in 10 mins, and informed along the whole way. Sitting here full- bellied now, it was delicious, the chicken korma is sooo creamy and just perfect with the pilau rice, and the cucumber/mint raita is heavenly! Feeling at least 50% better having eaten this lovely food and will be back!
26/09/2025: Always loved Chutni but very disappointed lately with quality of food. Chicken rubbery and tasteless and portions are definitely getting smaller as prices rise. Did reach out to them directly before posting this but got no reply. Will be taking a Chutni break for a while.

Spice of India
Dublin
02/11/2025: As an Indian visiting Dublin, (a) definitely not authentic; (b) to the extent that the dish was Indian, it wasn't made well. I had ordered a chicken biryani. It should hv been served with dahi (spiced yoghurt), but was served with "sauce" which was presumably dal. The biryani itself wasn't prepared well at all. The chicken was dry. The rice was also dry and flavourless. Spices were off and weren't used right. I am not usually this put off by food but this made me so angry. The chutneys and salad on the side didn't help either - idk how one can get that wrong. The names of diahes on the menu are spelt wrong and don't seem fairly representative of what was possible to offer with food here. Not worth the price, unfortunately. Service was only okay and not very welcoming.
27/10/2025: Raj was excellent, very kind and attentive.

25/06/2025: No flavour in one dish and other dish was inedible, like it had gone off! All
went in the bin. What a waste of 50 something euro!
16/06/2025: Ok for a quick bite.. snack or lunch on the go.

Sitar
Dublin
18/10/2025: Order a kebab and asked for no salad and just chilly sauce. Hovwer on returning to our room it had a variety of sauces on it. They should ask if you want sauces and not assume you want them. You could have a allergy. They don't even list on the menu that they are adding sauces.
I dropped it back and asked to get it changed but they wouldn't, saying I asked for mayo which I wouldn't as I dnt like it.
I ended up leaving my food I purchased with them and €12 out of pocket.
13/09/2025: Food is great but DO NOT order from Just Eat. The delivery guy placed the pizza boxes vertically which obviously disintegrated the pizzas and we couldn’t eat it like a pizza.

Mint Cottage
Dublin
08/11/2025: We waited 3hours for our takeaway. Tried phoning numerous times during this time but phone was engaged. Wanted to cancel as no one wanted it by the time it arrived..all reviews saying the same thing - you need to stop providing this service, will be following up for refund
04/11/2025: This actually seems like a nice place, but waited a really long time for someone to take my order. They never did, or gave me water or asked me did I want a drink. Had to ask for a menu. Only came up to me when I put on my coat to leave when I gave up waiting, and said it was busy - Tuesday night, place half full if that.
So looked nice, but service very poor.

Jewel in the Crown
Dublin
09/09/2024: Toilets were an absolute disgrace, I have seen ones in better condition in nightclubs at 3am. Completely flooded toilet paper everywhere, bins overflowing weren't cleaned id say in weeks. Another review said the same 3 months ago! Would strongly question how clean the kitchen is if that's the pride they take in the bathrooms.
The Restaurant is like something out of kitchen nightmares flooring is peeling off the ground my foot sank into a floorboard going to the toilet. Couldn't have spent a euro on the place in years. Prices are very expensive for the state of the place, McDonald's genuinely looks better. However the food was very nice and service was good.
06/09/2024: We visited this restaurant later on a Sunday evening and were quickly greeted, sat, and ordered. The food was fresh and tasty. The portions are fairly large as well. The butter Naan was super fluffy and great for dipping in our sauces! Two of our friends ordered the Mango Lassi and enjoyed that as well.

The One Asian Kitchen
Dublin
09/11/2025: Never delivered food for 2 and a half hours, rang up told me I never ordered and would ring me back after confirming and never did, told me I’d get a refund and my food delivered, never received a refund in the end and the food came burnt
27/10/2025: To be honest, the food is rather good, which is why I keep ordering from here. However, I must say their cashiers are terribly rude. Whether I order by phone or in person, I've never once received a 'hello', 'thank you', or even a smile. I can understand no smile – perhaps they're overwhelmed with work – but as service staff, surely a basic 'hello' or 'thank you' is expected? Even if they omit those, they shouldn't shout at customers for no reason. Once or twice might be an accident, but after several such incidents, I couldn't take it anymore and decided to leave this comment. It feels like you're paying to be treated badly. You're earning money in the service industry, so you ought to have the proper service attitude. Next time, I might just order directly through the website and have it delivered by a driver, so I don't have to get annoyed every time I order ,advise they change a cashier will be better
