13/05/2025: Had previously left a glowing review after coming here for years. Unfortunately a recent takeaway experience really let us down. Prawn curry was watery with about 3 prawns and no veg, staff were very unapologetic when we rang. Something must have changed here, so updating my review. All they had to do was acknowledge it and offer to make it right, now we won't be back.

He estado viniendo aquí durante años y después de haber probado un montón de restaurantes indios en Dublín este sigue siendo mi favorito. En ambas noches comí aquí este mes la comida era excelente. Los entrantes eran muy buenos - compartimos cebolla bhajis y samosa chat. También son grandes. La red era muy buena y llegó humeante caliente y placas calientes fueron traídos justo antes de que llegaran - ocasionalmente llegan demasiado pronto. Muy feliz de que la saag de pollo está ahora en el menú. El ambiente es acogedor y relajado. Ahora tienen una botella Bring - your - own - lo que significa que puedes disfrutar de tu vino favorito a precios de supermercado por una tarifa razonable de descorche.

11/04/2025: Como Louise, solía visitar aquí con frecuencia, pero ya no después de anoche. las salsas son muy sabrosas, pero hay muy poco pollo o pescado en los platos. Le avisamos al servidor, pero nadie lo abordó. Era demasiado caro por falta de calidad. No había muchos otros allí, ahora sé por qué.

18/05/2025: Absolutely outstanding experience at Spice of India Clonsilla! 🌟. The food was incredibly tasty and fresh, bursting with authentic flavours. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality and handled with care. The Tandoori Jumbo Prawn Masala was a highlight—rich, smoky, and perfectly spiced. What truly made the evening unforgettable was the service—we were treated like royalty. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared that we were enjoying ourselves. I also tried Mango Lassi for the first time, and it was a revelation! So refreshing and creamy—like dessert in a glass. I can’t believe I hadn’t discovered it sooner. Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving real Indian cuisine and top-class hospitality. We’ll definitely be back

19/05/2025: Wir wählten dieses Restaurant aufgrund der guten Rezensionen aus und machten eine Reservierung. Ich wurde noch selten so emotionslos empfangen.und so gehässig bedient...Nach dem Wasser mussten wir mehrmals fragen. Das Essen war sehr lecker - aber auf eine solche Bedienung können wir verzichten (vor allem deren weibliche Bedienung ist an Anschiss kaum zu übertreffen) - ich werde nie wieder dort essen ! Ich bin ca. 1x pro Monat im Ausland unterwegs und kann an einer Hand abzählen, wieviele Male ich in all den Jahren kein Trinkgeld gegeben habe: letzten Samstag war es aber soweit.

13/05/2025: Excelente restaurante , un poco más tranquilo que muchos otros lugares, pero la comida y el servicio eran buenos . Y para nosotros, la paz para disfrutar de nuestra comida vale su peso en oro. Buena comida, no un menú demasiado complicado. Las porciones fueron puntuales el , el chile masala maravilloso. ¡Y la cerveza de barril era de barril! Y por último, pero no menos importante. No tan pretencioso como muchos otros bares y restaurantes en Dublín X Namaste

24/03/2025: Got takeout , waited an hour and 15 mins. Got butter chicken , and chicken madras. They were both very bland and the chicken was dry. The naan bread was not fresh. Really disappointing

06/03/2025: Don't bother ordering delivery from this place. They have got worse and worse with delivery times. 2nd time we've been forced to wait over 1.5hrs for food. Ordered on 6/3/25 and still waiting hopefully it will be here by the 7th

09/09/2024: Toilets were an absolute disgrace, I have seen ones in better condition in nightclubs at 3am. Completely flooded toilet paper everywhere, bins overflowing weren't cleaned id say in weeks. Another review said the same 3 months ago! Would strongly question how clean the kitchen is if that's the pride they take in the bathrooms. The Restaurant is like something out of kitchen nightmares flooring is peeling off the ground my foot sank into a floorboard going to the toilet. Couldn't have spent a euro on the place in years. Prices are very expensive for the state of the place, McDonald's genuinely looks better. However the food was very nice and service was good.

06/09/2024: We visited this restaurant later on a Sunday evening and were quickly greeted, sat, and ordered. The food was fresh and tasty. The portions are fairly large as well. The butter Naan was super fluffy and great for dipping in our sauces! Two of our friends ordered the Mango Lassi and enjoyed that as well.

24/02/2025: I was really impressed. I got a meal deal for 28 euro. Very tasty I must say. The Chicken Tikka Masala was really good. As it should be. So many restaurants get it wrong. This one didn't. I will be going back.

10/03/2025: Food from Chutni has always been incredible however, the lack of follow up from the establishment after one of their drivers was threatening to my friend for parking in a public car park is horrific. I have contacted Chunti twice in relation to this, both times being promised the owner will contact me but after 6+ weeks I have yet to hear from them. Their driver threatened to have my friends car clamped because she parked in the public car park, much further down from the establishment. I explained to him that having lived in the area for 20 years - a clamping agency has never been employed/ enforced there. There are also no signs up within the car park stating clamping is in operation also. The establishment staff assured me that there is no clamping agency enforced in the car park, advising me that the driver only works for them every so often - which is untrue as he is seen there almost daily when they are open. Really disappointed in how they have responded to this. If it was a group of males the driver would have minded his own business however, he decided to intimidate young girls, one who is also heavily pregnant.

26/04/2025: Nice place. A good cheaper alternative compared to other Indian restaurants in Dublin. In particular, the offer of a starter and main course for €25 until 7:30 p.m. made the price attractive. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is a bit bland and monotonous. Nevertheless, the food was really tasty. Price-performance is therefore quite fair for Dublin, especially with the offer

03/04/2025: Oh well... The restaurant was clean, but the chairs and the guest toilet were tattered. The food didn't blow me away. It was ok. However, the service was nice, courteous and attentive.

23/11/2024: I worked making deliveries on 10/28 and to this day they have not paid me. I send messages and they don't respond. Unfortunately I have to follow the protocol of the application which is to wait (Gigable). I hope you pay as soon as possible.

24/04/2025: As an Indian vegan, I am limited for options in most places considering they add dairy and don’t necessarily understand the diet. Tadka House is my go-to because you can “make it vegan” for various dishes. It’s hot, delicious and always on time. Love it
